In high school the coach showed us some 8 mm tapes of Gable and then said, “he does almost every move wrong but he can get away with it. Yawl can’t”.

That coach really had some balls to insult Dan Gable.

I just was not into it tonight. My legs and back still hurt. I cut it way short from what I normally do.

I missed yesterday. The kid who is supposed to open at 8:00 AM never showed up. The gym manager never answered her phone. My buddies and I stood around for 45 minutes.

Today was 3/3/3. It was not too bad.

Most gyms have card/finger print entry for 24 hour access now.

I know. We had that very discussion. There are probably five gyms on that side of town that allow 24 entry. I’ve been a member since they opened 17 years ago, so it’s kind of hard for me to walk away.

Today at work was rough. One of my retired clerks always makes Christmas cookies. Well today was the day. She makes the best cookies I have ever eaten (sorry mom and Mrs. Crip). I ate my weight in cookies today.

The bearhugs are by far the hardest. I think I will start focusing on them. The driveway was still wet with a little ice on it tonight, so just a little bit of danger made if fun.

I agree bearhugs are the harder ones. Breathing issue which shoulder carry solves.

I think heavy sandbag work would be great for wrestling conditioning.

Agreed. It is amazing how much sandbag carries causes a person to blow hard. The cardio affects are much greater than simple farmers’ carries.
