Old, Beginner, Trainwreck

A sign not to juice, go on the ‘juice’, start “juicing”…none of it!

Sorry about the 350mile round trip for a new blender

Hahaha! You got it! 100 mile trip to find a new one. And no on the juicing thing. But, I always throw rice in my post shake, to bump up the carbs. And, sweet potatoes, rice, and cottage cheese at night. I also use pea protein and you have to throw some stuff (Apples etc…) in there or you can’t stand to drink that shit!

O.K. then; that was a close call.

SP, rice and cottage cheese is pretty serious snack; I see gains in your future:)

Pea protein. Interesting. And that’s a powder?

Yes. I like it better for pre than whey. It’s not quite as heavy. The kind I buy has greens and stuff in it. It says " energy shake". But, it also says " great taste"…I am still trying to figure out compared to what…lol It does make me feel good tho. It has 25 grams of protein per serving. It is one of those things you chug, not savor!

Friday started the downward spiral, I slogged my way thru Sat, and Sunday was an all out F’n Greek Tragedy. Started with a toothache, tried to rescue a maggot infested, dying kitten, almost incinerated the bbq’d brisket for my mom’s bday, and ended with breaking my blender.
Monday I finally squeaked out…

Finally feeling better. Somebody kick my ass if I leave home without food again!!!
WTF was I thinking?

Anyway, since we have already established that I have the attention span of a baby goat, I have recalculated everything to try Wendler’s new hard gainer program. It seems to make more sense me. And like Eye Dentist said… you have to pick one you will stick with.

So, if you see me screwing around here yell me at that I better be eating something!!!

Will have adjust some things to accommodate the box jumps, and still working on the agile8 thing. It’s going to have to be a fairly short box these days…lol

HI  havent been posting on here much lately so I haven’t been able to do my traditional Hello to new members on the Over35. Belated “welcome aboard”

Thanks for the welcome Bulldog. He’s a cutie!

So precious.

What did you have to eat, so far today? Or by noon?
Please don’t say baby goat sandwiches.

You won’t like the answer… 2 bacon fold overs with a bowl or malt o meal for bfast. Then smoked sausage+ a piece steak and 2 eggs for brunch.
I bbq’d steak, pork steaks, sausage, this morning. Going to go throw on some chicken wrapped in bacon, some sweet taters and cook a big pot of beans to finish it off. With sweet tea of course. Oh the horrors!.. lol

Nobody in town had any cabrito so, no baby goat sandwiches today…lol The bbq joint in town charges like$12.99/ pound for it. That’s more than I am prepared to pay.

That’s a lot of protein! You’re going to be a beast and will soon need to widen the door jambs in your house to fit your expanding shoulders through.

Won’t like the answer?..I love it! Protein, lots-o-fats, carbs and fiber; what’s not to love.
Well done Miss CL.

Thanks Z! I’m trying.

Hahaha! It’s a beautiful dream, but will settle for just having to turn sideways…lol

Let’s see, I weed eat and mowed part of my jungle, cooked, battled my protein thief (snake, he eats all my eggs), trimmed the tree and chopped bushes with the axe, ( to find his wretched carcass) weed eat some more, and replaced the bushing on mom’s lawnmower wheel and got her going again. I think I deserve a beer.

Oh! And FYI… if you are creeping around in brush up to your waist, looking for snake, never forget your phone is on vibrate in your back pocket! Did I mention I need to do a load of laundry now?

Wow, busy, busy.

Nice tractor!

My neighbor give me that thing. Been looking for some reasonably priced tires for it. I know all this yard work and stuff seems irrelevant, but it is important in the fact that I am more focused when I get this stuff done. If that makes any sense?

I would say that this is sage advice!

And yard work counts as working out.
