That picture of Arnold where he looks totally out of shape made me think of retired bodybuilders in general…
Do they keep working out ? are they still in a decent shape like the guy from Stuward’s avatar ?
Tom Platz is a car salesman. He has a facebook too. lol
Sergio Oliva is retired. He was a policeman for several years.
Many of these guys continued lifting into their 60’s and then backed off from training. Either way, they still outlived many of the rumors about how they should all be dead. Apparently, the ones who didn’t lose their head are still kicking for the most part.
The only person I am interested in learning about is Albert Beckles. the man was appearing on talk shows (Montel Williams once when I was a kid) well into his 60’s and was still huge. While I am sure he is nowhere near that condition now, you don’t hear much about him at all.

Thank you.
if you search this site there should be a thread with quite a few current pics of bodybuilders from the “golden era”
I know ive been lucky enough to meet Larry Scott, Bill Grant, Anibal Lopez, Frank Zane, Lou Ferrigno and Lee Haney and even though they might not all look like competitive bodybuilders anymore, they all looked at least like very healthy older men.

According to that website, Albert Beckles was a vegetarian?
