Oil vs Capsules...

Thanks TT - I figured that, but thought I’d check and I greatly appreciate your response.

Also, (and not sure if I should post on this forum) I read your sysnopsis of the call with Udo’s. VERY interesting. I think I am going to move to the Udo’s Choice when I am done with my Carlson’s. My Question for you is; will this ONE supplement suffice in me getting all of the necessary oils (ALA, EPA, DHA, etc…)??? Here is the spec’s for the bottle -

Serving size: One Tablespoon (1/2 oz.)
Servings per bottle: 17 in 8.5 oz. bottle, 34 in 17 oz. bottle
Calories: 135
Total Fat: 14.5 gm
Saturated Fat: 1.5 gm
Polyunsaturated Fat: 10 gm
Omega-3 fatty acids: 6.4 gm
Omega-6 fatty acids: 3.2 gm
Monounsaturated Fat: 3 gm
Omega-9 fatty acids: 3 gm
Medium Chain Triglycerides: 231 mg

OR, would recommend supplementing with Fish Oil as well??

Also, and just to confirm - you say that 1 tablespoon per 55 lbs??

Lastly (i promise) I would be very curious to learn more about the PRO-inflammatory response to people under high amounts of stress as I am a runner (just ran a marathon last week)!! Hmmmm…

Thanks again TT for dropping great knowledge on us all!

Wow. Well that definitely got my attention!

I would think that taking blended vitamin E supplement would take of the oxidant problem. Did you ask Udo about that? I am not a big fan of the taste of Udo’s oil. Yuk. I guess it’s back to cottage cheese w/ fat and udo’s oil. But I’ve never taken more than 1 tbs of fish oil and usually take 1 tbs of flax oil (the one with cinamon flavor) for extra 3s to balance out the ratio of 3s to 6s. I remember reading somewhere that Borage oil or evening primose (not sure which one) isn’t good but I couldnt remember where that is and what the reason is which was why I haven’t gotten around to getting GLA supplement.
