Tennessee got a vote in the Harris Pole. Where did that come from.
csulli?

Missouri just had a red shirt freshmen qb make his first start and guide an offense to over 500 yards against Florida… This game wasnt even close. MU can flat out rush the passer.

MU replaced two injured team captains this week with freshmen and played great!.

The SEC is a mess but Alabama is looking like a team bound to repeat…

The tigers are favored by vegas this week, at kickoff for the indiana, vandy, georgia and florida games they were underdogs.

If missouri was any other school they would be ranked #3 right now, they have better wins then Ohio state and Oregon.

Eh, that’s been true of teams in the past, it’s a flaw of the polls though. Teams that start high always get this hidden benefit of needing to be supplanted by some amazing win(FSU v Clemson) or literally lose their spot by well, losing.

I was actually surprised to see them all the way at #5 not because they are undeserving, but because of the above. Losses by #3, 6-9, and 11 helped clear their path more than their win, as shitty as it is that the polls work that way.

I think they are being punished for the perceived depleted state of the teams they beat. If they win out they will probably pull ahead of Ohio State going into the SEC championship. But that’s a big if. South Carolina is a tough game for anyone, and A&M will test that D. Ole Miss can give them trouble and them sitting at 7-3 (if they can overcome their loss of depth against Idaho, Arkansas, and Troy) when they play will look like a decent win if they get it. The freshman QB looked good. I thought they were toast without Franklin. Green-Beckham and Washington are beasts at receiver.

As someone wrote earlier, the SEC is a mess. Missouri and Auburn are undoubtedly the biggest surprises in the league and I believe that either one of them could beat Bama and don’t believe that it is too much of a stretch to say that. The rest of the conference is a hot mess. How many people predicted an Auburn vs Missouri SEC championship game? Zero. But it could very well happen.

Mizzu is going to beat the next 3 conference deadbeats and close with A&M.

That’s going to be a good game.

Oh, and Stanford is gonna beat Oregon.
BAM!!!

There is it. I KNEW Oregon wasn’t that tough.

Just another good team if they were in the SEC!

You have now gone from having missouri ranked 13 of 14 teams to saying they could beat the best team in the conference. Stop talking.

I think that Ole Miss game is going to be much closer than you think. Both of them get to rest a little with a few easy games leading into it. We will just have to see how that game goes. Which in the SEC you never know. Arkansas or Kentucky could do something stupid and beat one of them so who knows.

What did Mizzou or Auburn for that matter do last year that would have made me like them? What did Mizzou do in OC play at the beginning of the season? They played nobody. Turns out they are good. Who knew?
