You know I heard the same thing about ASU… I wonder which one is worse.

Though The Corps is a sausagefest, you haven’t seen dirty hoes till you’ve seen the ones in and around the military. College hoes seem innocent to me, lol
You seem like you have some stories to tell.
Yes… Have some sea stories…

My ex girlfriend is stationed in Miramar now. I wonder what she’s up to…

If enlisted, screwed someone on her deck in the barracks by the second day and working though the rest of the barracks. Also will “make sure” she doesn’t get duty, morning cleanup, field day, etc…

If Officer, pregnant and married with the first two years.

I didn’t get to partake in the “festivities”, but can corroborate tons of female sailors conveniently getting pregnant to avoid deployments or leave while ON deployment. Hmmmmm wonder how that happened…
Here’s a good one. On the carrier, one of the physical therapists and I worked out together and he did the sick call. They tracked who was screwing who by who came down with what the current rampant sexually transmitted disease…

Hey ahu how’s the food at UCSD? Should i max out the meal plan or just get the minimum and cook mostly in my apartment?

Mmm. San Diego. Drink it in, it always goes down smooth. Discovered by the Germans in 1904, they named it San Diego, which of course in German means “a whale’s vagina”.

I’ve been thinking about starting one of these up and here it is. This is the place for all my fellow San Diegins… San Diegons… San Diegoins to get together and talk shop.

Training, food, beaches, cool bars, whatever! Since that 24 Hour fitness troll thread basically became a SD thread I figured there were enough of us and that I’d start a real one.

You stay classy San Diego

Seriously “whales vagina” think logically, it was named by the Spanish of course.

It was named after Saint Didacus.

I’m pretty much just a long time lurker here.

No love for the east county here, I see.

I fish in the bays at least once a week if anyone is down for that.

As far as taco tuesdays, it’s all about the all you can eat wings at Hooters on tuesdays.

I’ve yet to do the all you can eat wings… I’m just really not that fond of hooters wings. There are so many other wing spots that’re way better IMO

If you know some cooler places for a couple of guys to go unwind after work over some beer and wings, let me know. I’ll give 'em a shot.

Well hooters definitely has a good “atmosphere” but Im not the biggest fan of their wings. For wings I like:

Wings N Things: The chicken strips are awesome here

Tap Room: In PB and has really good wings. Its a good place to start out at if you plan on hitting PB afterwards

Oggies: Good wings. Standard sports bar.

The Tilted Kilt: Downtown right by the stadium which sucks balls cause I dont like going downtown. They have pretty good wings from what I remember but the waitresses all wear kilts and push up bras… its pretty awesome. The waitresses at the Temecula one which just opened are hotter. They’re all slutty moto-hoe’s/bro-hoe’s

I used to go to a place in south carolina the grilled the hot wings, they were the best! anyplace like that around here in SD?

^^ohhhhh not that I know of but that sounds amazing! I’m gonna do an internet search tomorrow for SD wing spots

Mmm, I hear the call of fish tacos and a margarita from Fred’s in the gaslamp. Come on Wednesday!

^^Fish Tacos on Wednesday? Do you guys have Taco Wednesdays out there in Maryland?

Freds is good but there are better spots IMO when it comes to fish tacos.

Wednesday is when I get there.

I’m really going there for a margarita, the tacos don’t matter too much.

hey Chris,

any chance of bringing the prowler out this Saturday?

anyone interested in another session?

(Cool that TC responded to my PM about last week’s session asking how it went. Told him I’d actually give a few days notice about next time)

Depending. If you are going to be on campus (i.e. a dorm) just get the meal plan… you’ll figure out ways to eat for pretty cheap for each cafeteria. If you are able to cook though, nothing will ever be cheaper than that nor healthier.

Callahan’s in Mira Mesa. Irish pub with a great blueberry beer (no homo) and wing night on wednesday’s. Get there early or it gets packed ~7:45pm. Get an atomic wing and eat it. It’s a rite of passage.

I visit UCSD on occasion, so I know a bit about the food… the thing about the meal plan is it’s not like buffet style, you basically have to ask for a particular dish and it gets charged off some chunk of money you bought for the meal plan. The portions are tiny and not enough to satisfy, so you’ll have to eat a lot… much better than the glop they serve here in SB though.

BTW, thanks for the UCSD college overview thing, ahu. I’m going to put in a transfer app this coming fall, so it’d be nice to know what to choose lol.

One wing is all you need.
