I was about to comment “laser tattoo removal?” But then I noticed one pic was in a mirror and the other wasn’t.
How’d you place in the comp? Also replacing your veins with garden hose was a nice touch.

@jackolee It’s game over right there. It will be very interesting too see what you look like in 3 months time compared to your start.
Great work! That’s an incredibly motivating transformation.
@robstein This makes me want to do a show in next 2 years.
DO ITTTTT!
Took 2nd in Masters and 4th in open. Was an awesome experience overall!
Do it! Nothing like a deadline to make you rise up!
Congrats man! Looking fantastic!
@jackolee absolutely smashed it!
I’ve been fighting that temptation to cut, I know it’s the right thing to do to just go on holiday a little softer and keep doing what I’m doing. Really feel like I’ve found a sweet spot with my training and nutrition. Excuse the spot lights causing funny shadows but here is my current bulkier physique.
@jackolee, that leg pic, nice work! You look awesome.
Lol, I just want to get to your before pic! Well done.
You got it dude! Why was your starting point and what’s your progress been like?
No shit!
I started at about 200lbs and I’m sitting at about 200lbs… It’s all good, though. I was 215 in October so at least I’m maintaining this lower weight.
I’ll get serious at some point…
Kind of a silly progress pic, but I thought I’d share. My brother got married this weekend, so I bought a couple new shirts for the rehearsal and wedding. State and Liberty is the brand. These shirts are freaking awesome. I love the fit, great taper to waist, all the dimensions felt perfect. This is an XL. Highly recommend the brand.
Not even at my final form:

Short progress report. I’ve been running 5/3/1 and eating like a savage, I’m actually up to 245lbs, heaviest I’ve ever been. Feel sluggish, but the weight is moving smooth and I’m smashing my rep records by 2-3 reps every week. So… here’s to hoping the month or two of sweaty hot garage gym lifting will give me something to post. Should have just posted a max goal with my pictures lol.
That 345 looked EASY.
Thanks! Last nights 365 was easy too. My max has been 402 in sleeves, so I figure my coach is just letting me adjust to wraps.
Weighed in at 222.6lbs this morning (+1.0lb from start of comp). Still doing conjugate, and just hit a 190lb trap bar PR, lol. Last time I touched a trap bar was 10 years ago though…
655lbs for a slow single.
So to give a little update, this whole thing has been a struggle. Not sleeping much with a newborn. Been in a very high volume block, but am finishing that block and moving into the strength block powerlifting cycle. I’ve pulled my lower back and chest during this section of training. Got a stomach bug. Had to get an infected, internally restorative tooth pulled (training on hydrocodone is interesting: Do a set, sit down, sometime later remember where you are and get up for another set). After not really being able to eat for about 2 weeks, I’ve ended up losing some weight when I’d planned on gaining a bit to this point. However, strength is good. Pulled 465 for 6 conventional this morning at about a 9 RPE. I think this is an all-time PR (largely because I didn’t really keep records on 6 rep maxes) but it is definitely an under 200 lbs bodyweight PR. I’ve also now been exclusively high bar squatting and I’m finally getting my quads strong and my squat form decent (after 20 years of lifting). Any sort progress is pleasantly surprising so I’ll take it.
