Cheers. She’s a perfectionist though and set out to get abs so she’s annoyed that she missed that. Going to dial it back for a couple of weeks for some strength work then do a short sharp cut
Posting for completeness. Y’all brought your game this year! I think I’m down about 6-7lbs since the beginning and strength is at an all time high.
Awesome physique as always, but weren’t you a bit more cut a few months ago? I would post that coz more abs usually trumps slightly more full muscles in these comps…
Very solid physique, mate!
Thanks man, and yes I think slightly (different lighting, possibly more flexed). I’m more posting these so that I don’t flake on the competition. Cutting fell off my list of priorities several weeks ago when I decided to embrace the 100kg/220lb class for my first PL competition on June 6th. Sitting around 211lbs now…so it wouldn’t have been too difficult to cut to the 90kg/198lb class. I’m looking to bust out some new PRs on the 6th! Then debating going full @MarkKO and pushing my weight to places I’ve never been before. That could be fun.
Thanks! You had a helluva transformation. Awesome work.
Really trying to get to my gym to take after photos in the same mirror, but scheduling has made that difficult all week. May just have to use the bathroom mirror I’ve used before, and maybe submit a picture in the correct mirror in a few days. I’ll definitely be at the gym Saturday morning. Will that be allowed?
That should be fine, just get them in ASAP.
And on that note…
Waiting on afters from: @alex44938, @alphadogo, @boombalatti, @brady888, @burien_top_team, @coyotegal, @dchris, @Dr_Pangloss, @duketheslaya, @ectoman, @FatKidfromFL, @Giantandre25, @JFG, @kd13, @kevintx, @lelouch92, @loganator, @lord_humongous, @Love_The_Deadlift, @meatshrd, @natjam, @pablo115, @Pinkylifting, @planetcybertron, @random8889, @steigs, @texair, @tunnelfishion, @anon50325502, and @yessir.
You guys were with us in the beginning and started it, but a handful (who shall remain nameless) haven’t even posted since January. I can only hope you’re gonna be like the football player guy in Summer School and show up any minute like, “Zipper was stuck.”
Anyhow, the voting poll is going up in a couple of days with whatever entries I’ve got, so get your pics in, like, now. You don’t think you’ll win the thing? Winning the challenge is gravy (or icing, or whipped cream. Insert food metaphor of choice). Beginning and completing something, and learning along the way, is more useful than winning an Internet contest.
You’re embarrassed by a “lack of progress”? C’mon. For sure there are some monsters in here, but there are also some guys who still have a ways to go before being legit-ripped (self included). But they did what they said they were going to do.
So, yeah. Last call for pics. Get 'em up in the next couple days or forever hold your peace and expect to get your balls busted for the next 6-12 months.
You can pull the one I posted in my log a few days ago. It’s not the same location, but a) my house is in shambles right now and b) I’m not going to win anyway…
I gotcha:
Not sure how this is going to look:

208 on left 220 on right
To be perfectly honest, I’ve been waiting to end my run of constipation for the past couple of days so I can get a good idea of my final scale weight, so I have high hopes that I will post a picture very soon.
you know you can just go ahead and take/post a picture now, without an accompanying bodyweight, right? lol
I’d like to add that there is a bigger picture. This is year two of the challenge and I believe there will be a year three.
I simply entered so that I’d be eligible for any year to year improvements and to be part of the community.
Got a nice 4:00am dehydrated after pic. Remember, it’s not cheating unless you have a pump! (And even then if you’re not cheating you’re not trying to win)
Cropped the before pic, but it’s the same one as the start of the year.
Celebrating my 51st today with my Before/After entry!
Before
After
Starting weight 153.6
Finishing weight 145.6
Managed to get a little stronger and lose a little weight, which was the goal. Would have liked to drop an even 10 pounds. But I reached my lightest weight in decades, so I’ve got that.
Diet was probably the biggest issue. Not clean enough and not nearly enough protein to prevent some muscle loss (probably about 3 out of the 8 pounds I dropped). Am doing a trial this month to consume as much protein as I’m supposed to (about 150g per day) and see what happens. Feel free to share any tips along those lines!
Overall, a fun challenge. Looking forward to next year!
Here’s my after. Definitely got leaner in the period and was at my lowest around March/April but midway through a strength and hypertrophy phase and enjoying not having to be as strict with the diet.
You have one of the best bodies here, congratulations!
Cheers, buddy. That’s very kind of you but I feel @flipcollar takes that accolade by the proverbial mile. Still all a journey, right? As long as there is progress
Yeah, surely @flipcollar is a beast and we all aim to be like him!
