Carb cycling, 5/3/1 full Body template 3x week, 20 minutes fasted running in the morning 1x week, 10 sprints + 15 minutes running 2x week (fasted) and a weekly hard mountain bike ride of 40 km. I’m doing the best I can since I’ve noticed that I’ve never been so close to see my never uncovered abs.
Tanning
Except for me @Frank_C . We’re doing the same thing. I have stopped referring to my abs. Instead, I have an ab. It’s not a gut, because you can just see where my abs are, except the individual abs aren’t visible.
It’s really quite a T-ransformation ![]()
Still prepping for my first PL competition on June 9th, so my physique has sort of taken the back burner with strength being my number one priority. However, I’ve been working out 5-6 days per week which is higher frequency than I’m used to so I’m hoping to reveal some new muscle in the process.
Similar situation here really, had some good fat loss at the start of the ear to make weight for my first Comp in March, but since then have deliberately not been losing any weight, dont want to come in light for my comp next weekend, so my results will be some visible fat loss and then (hopefully) some minor muscle gains
Sticking with the morning bike 5 days a week. Recently bumped it from 60 minutes steady state to 20 minute intervals then 40 minutes steady. Basic lifting 5 days.
I had a three-scoop banana split for lunch on Monday. I was on vacation. I won’t do either one again for the next month.
Sitting around 222-3 lbs here
This has been my response to the last 18 meals I’ve had when my wife questions my choices.
Time to jog, swing, starve and, hopefully, look sexy in 29 days.
I was reading the shredded in six days article but tbh I don’t think I have the mental willpower to drain myself like that haha
I tried the water flushing part for a day and it helped clear some junk from my system. I just drank tons of water for a day and ate normal. I bet if you did that part alone for a couple of days then you’d see some changes.
I’ve done it before and to be honest it worked okay. I Didn’t do the baths though.
I woke up on the peak day feeling really full, mostly noticeable in my shoulders. Not sure I was lean enough to really get a dry look.
How tall are you? Looking lean with some nice shape.

Me? 5’9 pretty much exactly
Just to touch back on the idea of cutting water and whatnot, this compilation piece had some ideas if anyone was still thinking about making changes as things come down to the wire:
A common theme in most of the coaches’ input: Daily training with no rest days, low-to-no carbs, and playing with water/carbs/sodium for peak week.
Here are some progress pics. The first is my official “before” T-ransformation pic (december 31), the second is from my first day of cut (february 27) and the last is from today. I know, very little progress but I’m doing my best.
- My weight in the pics: 1-84 kg, 2-88 kg, 3-79 kg
- My nutrition is based on intermittent fasting and simple carb cycling, with starchy carbs only on weight training days. Calories are around 1800-2200 depending on the day.
- I’m training 3 times a week with 5/3/1 Full body.
- I’m doing 2 short fasted morning cardio sessions at week and a long bike ride.
- The next 3 week I’ll try to do short sessions of fasted morning cardio every day and weight training in the afternoon.
I feel very flat and small in my clothes. My energy is on the lower side but I still don’t have too many issues during my workouts.
I will be giving this a read shortly
I added some updated pics in my log.
Nice progress, good work
