Officer Out of Line?

I just got back from a house party that got broken up by the cops. while everyone was leaving the house, cops were getting ids from people to make sure they were 21. one guy who was 21 had his id taken and was asking for it back. the guy was clearly drunk and kept making stupid comments when the officer told him that “we do things a little differently around here” so the drunk guy says “and hows that” so the officer grabs his neck with one hand and punches him in the face twice then throws the guy to the ground.

once he was on the ground the officer flipped him over onto his stomach and tasered him then cuffed him. this was all over a drunk guy talking too much. does anyone else think this is a bit of an overreaction?

Uh yeah, if he’s reported he’s screwed.

Video? Pics? Seems like it was a fun party, lol.

I’d love to get the officers side of the story, and a video.

along with the “entire” story, and not just your version of events.

Something tells me there is quite a bit missing from this story.

But if it went down exactly as you claim, then do you really have to ask? Of course he would be out of line…

First the cop hits him so he goes down. Then he flips him over on his stomach and tasers him in his back?

If he’s laying on the floor, with his back up, he really ain’t much of a threat. i mean, if he could flip him on his stomach, he could just as easily cuffed him, without tasing him…
If the story is true, the cop is an idiot or a psychopath

I’m calling bullshit on OP

WHile I think there is alot more to this story than what was explained, when I hear these types of things I have a double edged sword type of opinion. 1. An officer should never abuse his authority 2. Why is there never an equal amount of focus on the fact the dumbass victom was being an ass hole and put himself in the situation? I don’t condone the abuse if there even was any but there seriously needs to be some owness on the part of the victom.

Example guy walks up to you calls your wife a whore you punch him in the mouth, even though he clearly had no intention of striking you sure you could argue you percieved agression but lets just play devils advocate you assaulted him physically he verbally assaulted your woman now are you a jerk for punching him or did he ask for it by his stupidity? I say you put yourself in stupid situations shit happens.
