Yep, he’s a sharp cookie.
He has not a clue what he is talking about on anything. Although I bet he would make a good community organizer.

Hahaha. The second clip reminded me of Bush, except that it was worse than anything I’ve seen from Bush.
How “articulate.”

That one was hilarious. Pure comedy!
Hmmm…he needs to get some sleep…
Being a ‘highly educated black male’ (Professor X) Obama should know that he needs his 8 hours of sleep! So it is obvious, him being a ‘highly educated black male’, that it is the evil racist whitey keeping him awake! Its a plot by the white man to keep black people down!! Black Liberation Theology says so!!!
In all fairness, my guess on the “57 states thing” is not that Obama really doesn’t know, but that it is so natural and often-said to say “50 states” and he may have been thinking relative to that. He may well
have been figuring how many on the basis of knowing there are 3 he hasn’t been to (if so) and intending to subtract from 50, and so where he may have meant to say forty-seven he accidentally started it out with the syllables “fifty.” I can see where that could happen. No one can speak hours in public every day for months on end without bloopers of that sort.
That one is sort of like crucifying Quayle over “potatoe.” (As of course the media did, but they weren’t right in doing so.)

You fucker.
I see your “Rick Roll” and raise you one “Barack Roll”
Wait, wait, wait - I was assured that Obama was “Lincolnesque!”.
That said, I forgive minor slips of facts - these guys campaign like hell and are exhausted, all the while having cameras shoved into their face. Obama deserves the benefit of the doubt on “57 states” and the like.
The only reason why those kinds of slips matter is to demonstrate the double-standard.
Also, in addition to being just plain mediocre away from the teleprompter - and he is, witness recent comments trying to take on Palin - I think Obama suffers from the problem in that he has a constant filter for what he really wants to say: he is trying to sound moderate, when he certainly is not. Obama has to, as a practical matter, remain vague and broad - and that lends itself to some awful extemporaneous speaking.
Look no further than the “pay grade” answer at Saddleback.

This is the last analysis of this issue that we’ll ever need. When you can’t just speak your mind
(EX. Who the hell does this white hickey mountain bitch think she is ridiculing me or I am committed to a thoroughgoing socialist state)
you’re left fumbling around trying to translate your marxist mindset into diplomatic American sounding rhetoric. Of course this is exacerbated by the rigors of the campaign road all the time.
