Obama's Racialism

But -

Obama has ties to ACORN. Obama is black. ACORN is basically a black organization. ACORN is under investigation in several states for voter fraud.

Obama’s wife is a racist. Obama went to a racist church for 20 years.

But no - there is nothing at all to suggest racism. Nothing at all.

Nice. Ask RJ for conspiracy theories, and he delivers! Let me get this straight, 1) Obama’s wife is a “secret racist” and 2) Blacks have secretly organized together with Obama to win the presidency via the “basically black organization” ACORN.

Am I understanding your conspiracy theories correctly?

Can I assume you then think Obama “hates whites” as the OP does? Or do you think that only Michelle Obama “hates whites” (and therefore of course hates 1/2 of her husband and 1/4th of her daughers too)?

Details man, DETAILS! I want to hear all of the craziness going around in your head.
Obama’s wife’s undergraduate thesis is right here if you want to read it:

Her sympathies lie with black separatism, which is probably why Princeton wasn’t going to allow her thesis to circulate again until November 5, 2008.

Wright’s own racialist views are problematic as well, otherwise Obama never would have severed ties with him 6 months ago. Obama went to a church (for 20 years) where racial antagonism was cultivated from the pulpit by both Pfleger and Wright.

Obama’s racialism also comes out in several places in “Dreams from My Father.” There’s no conspiracy at all involved in this, it’s just reality. It’s not a secret either. Liberals have just chosen to believe the facts that fit the mythology they’ve created around Obama.

He hangs with racists (No its not ok to hate white people even if you arent white. That “black people CANT be racist because they have no power” line is bullshit!)

He’s a gun grabber. Look at his voting record.
He cant find his birth certificate. In Kalifornia you cant even get a drivers license without one.

He was a part of this whole ACORN thing and groups like ACORN are part of the reason why we are in the mess we are in now.

And just for the record I’m black and I aint votin for him. I really don’t give a fuck if that makes me a sellout or not. I’m an AMERICAN first and black second and I’m NOT voting for an asshole that hates my country.

I really wish all of you good liberal white folk did some research on black liberation theology. If you had any reason or rational thought it would scare the shit out of you, but most of you are so full of “white guilt” you cant tell between a hole in the ground and you ass!!!
Good post.

Your source does not support your thesis. It says:

but a strong majority of Obama??s gains relative to Democratic performance in 2004, even in the South, can be attributed to increased support from white voters. Concern over the economy and the direction of the country over the last few years are outweighing any trepidation white voters, particularly conservative Democrats and independents, might have about choosing a black man.

You’ll notice you stated whites will vote for him “because of his race.” Your source states it’s because of “the economy and direction of the country.” I’ve underlined it to make it easier to see.

Any sources that prove your statement? I’ve shown you plenty showing mine on the other thread.

 1. She’s not a secret racist. She is only proud of this country when a black is running for President. She said it, not me.

 2. Where’s the secret? You asked for proof, I gave you a connect the dots scenario. Do I think ACORN is a racist organization? Absolutely. Do I think they are working to fraudulently register as many voters as they can? Did Obama have a a relationship with them in Chicago? Yes he did. The proof is in the press - all one needs to do is read the news.

Am I understanding your conspiracy theories correctly?

I am not pushing any conspiracy theories. The facts are the facts. I just listed several known facts. Your understanding has not been your strong suit since you showed up here. You have trouble reading, and you try much too hard to be cute.

Can I assume you then think Obama “hates whites” as the OP does? Or do you think that only Michelle Obama “hates whites” (and therefore of course hates 1/2 of her husband and 1/4th of her daughers too)?

You can assume anything you want. I don’t really give a fuck what you do. I never said Obama hates whites. I think his track record, and his associations speak with more authority than his words do.
RJ, The OP said Obama “hates whites.” Do you agree or don’t you?

YOU SAID, Michelle is “racist” but now you say she doesn’t “hate whites.” Please, explain this one for me. I’d really like to hear the casual connections going on in your head. Tell me the “facts!” Come on man, DETAILS! Why is Michelle a racist? Tell me that “facts” that the damn liberal common sense…I mean…liberal media won’t tell us.

And I love the guilt by association game…it’s so cute. I hear McCain must be a perverted homosexual…His association (with Larry Craig) speak with more authority than his words do. rolls eyes

How is it that you know that Michelle is racist but no one else seems to? Please, explain. I want to know how this conspiracy theory works.

Look. Either you have a severe reading comprehension problem, or you are so bent on paining me the color you want me to be that you only read part of what I write, and make up the rest.

Until you can actually read what I have written, there is no point in playing your little game.

Perfect illogic.

Racialism (your word) = hating whites? Is this right? My god! A Black woman graduating from Princeton in 1985 thought there was still racism in the world! OMG! What a revelation! You’ve equated seeing race with “hating whites” and think yourself being logical?

Ever read Ellison (your OP)? Seems Ellison’s racialism comes though pretty strongly in that text, I guess he “hates whites” too?

I’d like to hear more details from you too. Keep 'em coming. I need a good laugh at work today.

So why attend and support a church based on Marxist racial theology, for 20 years? A church with sermons preaching racial conspiracy theories? A church preaching racial seperatism. And, one rather chummy with the racist Farrakhan, I might add. Any takers?

I think this has probably passed the point of useful discussion. Oh well. Off to my Klan mtg. You coming?

Do you attend a church Sloth? I’m guessing not.

A church is a community of people. I’ve always been taught that “the place for sinners is church.” If I were to “go home” I would attend my childhood church. This church is horribly far away from perfect. We’ve had horrible priests over the years who’ve done and said horrible things (in my opinion). In high school I started standing up against the shit around me, and guess what? It stopped. Or more likely it stopped occurring around me.

In college I walked moved away. But guess what? I cannot truly “walk away” from this church. My dad still goes there. My friends still attend. It’s a fixture of the community and there is a community based around the church. It’s nowhere near perfect, but it is. I could have gone to other churches in the area, but I believe the vast majority of them are equally flawed, and guess what, those churches aren’t my community.

I can only imagine the shit I’d hear from people if they tried to connect me to those members of my church. I could go more into one’s relationship with faith, but this isn’t the place for it, and hell, I’d probably be ridiculed for being religious.

Flawed people can know Christ. Flawed people can lead you to Christ. Every priest is flawed in some way. IMO his sticking by the church so long after it became politically expedient to leave them speaks to the character of the man. Hell he stuck with them until that dumbass priest started holding press conferences rolls eyes

Do you really need someone to tell you what sticking with a community despite its flaws is a good thing? Perhaps you should go and pray about it.

That’d probably be because I called you on your illogic. You’ve yet to reply and with good reason. Your underlying feelings bubbled (bumbled?) right to the surface and, being unable to logically argue your points, you ignore, ignore, ignore.

Have fun at your Klan meeting. On your way why don’t you pull out Ellison and give it a read, it’s a good text.

That’s true. My white seperatist pastor, with his connections to David Duke and friends, isn’t such a big deal. Thanks for convincing me. I’d been made to feel guilty for attending a flawed church, but you’ve made me feel all better.

Did Obama stand up to Wright? Did he stand up to the rest of the Church? Did he confront any of the racist views held by his community?

No, he sat in that pew for 20 years and when finally confronted by the media, he “wasn’t there that Sunday”, or “missed that sermon”. Not until he was absolutely cornered and his race with Hillary was up in the air did he separate himself from and denounce Wright.

You’ve got no fucking idea, and guess what neither do I. We weren’t there. If you’ve any proof bring it forth, right wing blogs don’t count. He stuck by Wright until Wright stabbed him in the back.

Guess what, if I still lived at home, I’d still attend my “racist chruch.” I’ve attended for around 20 years now … why don’t you go ahead and tell me why I should abandon my family and friends.

Let me guess, you don’t attend a church either.

Let’s be honest, you don’t attend a church, do you? And if you did you abandoned them long ago thinking “I’m better than you” didn’t you?

It’s easy easy to criticize, why don’t you explain to me why I should abandon my family and friends?

Or easier yet, why don’t you explain how a pastor might just edit his sermons when a prominent half-white guy is sitting in the pews.
Gambit_Lost wrote:

Oh, and yes I do. I’ve left churches for much less than preaching about, let’s say, blacks inventing aids, how whites shouldn’t live amongst blacks and instead stick to their own communities, and keeping a close relationship with lunatic conspiracy racist leaders (like Farrakhan in Wright’s case), etc. Perhaps I’m just far more principled than yourself, and Obama.

Do you really feel comfortable making such a tortured and transparent defense of Obama’s long term and extremely close relationship with a race-baiting, conspiracy theorizing, kook? Got to sell out for party politics?

So now one must attend church in order to be able to comment on a racist pastor?

Your argument makes no sense.

Wright is a racist. To deny that is just laughable.

Barry went to a church pastored by a racist for 20 years.

Barry’s wife has a real problem with living in a “white society”.

Barry has surrounded himself with people who are either a racist, or has problems with white people.

Why must one attend church to understand these basic facts?

Why must one have to tell you to abandon your family and friends in order to be allowed to connect dots?

I didn’t know you were in charge of all this shit.

 1. If your church is racist, you will be considered a racist by association unless you stop going to the church. Quitting the church because you were caught going there is not quitting on principle. It is quitting based on popularity, or expediency.

 2. What does you personal life have to do with this? You may think you are important, but in reality - no one cares where you go to church.

Nice strawman though - and nice double standards, too.
