Unbelievable…
I know some conservatives are assholes.
And that surprises you? Not me.
Eh. I’d say what he’s really done is give an extremely lukewarm expression of support. He wants some people to think he is supporting the initiative, while being able to tell others that he isn’t. I think that’s the worst possible thing.

That makes no sense as almost 70% of the people are opposed to it. I don’t know of any good politician that wants to play to 30% of the electorate, while ticking off the other 70%. This speaks more to his core values I think. He is no Bill Clinton, Obama is an idieologue plain and simple. This I am hoping will keep him from winning a second term.
To use an example relevant to this site’s main purpose: I think people who vilify creatine and protein shakes are ignorant, however if someone were to interview me about their freedom of expressing said ignorant views, I would wholeheartedly support that right.
Show me from that article’s quote, or from any other Obama quote, not the commentary, that he supports not only the right to build the mosque, but the decision to build it. I am not saying he doesn’t support the building, maybe he does, however I have not seen anything except from reactionary commentary that proves he supports the building of the mosque.
