"President Barack Obama?s record in battling terrorism has proven so weak that one wonders if he really takes the issue seriously.
Since he has taken office, the president has:
? Announced closure of Guantanamo.
? Declined to prosecute the mastermind behind the USS Cole bombing.
? Closed all overseas CIA interrogation centers.
? Appointed an Attorney General and Justice Department officials on record as opposed to the use of ?enhanced? interrogation techniques in terror investigations.
? Granted Al Arabia television his first news organization interview and called Fatah Party leader and PA President Mahmoud Abbass in his first phone contact with any foreign leader.
Now, with no strings attached, the president has allocated $20.3 million in ?post-conflict humanitarian aid? to ?Palestinian refugees and conflict victims in Gaza. The additional funds bring to $60 million U.S. aid commitments in Gaza."

And shifting focus and manpower to afghanistan and pakistan. You’ll remember that’s where the terrorists are. So apparently taking it even more seriously.
Odd that Morris left that out. Must have been an oversight.

Declined? What is this? A dinner invitation? A bench-press?
The alleged “mastermind” has been imprisoned for 7 years without a charge. And it’s not like Obama is letting him go or anything. He’ll be charged. The point of contention, as far as I understand it, is about the status and legality of what’s going on in Guantanamo.
You left out the stupidity of Hillary Clinton. Let’s not forget that at her confirmation hearing she said that we won’t be using the military instead we are going to be using “smart diplomacy”. What a stupid thing to say. This next few years is going to be bad.

Somebody correct me if I’m wrong.[/quote]
Do you think the alleged mastermind should be charged? Just curious.
