Obama Killed a Fly. Peta is Mad

Ok if flies are animals than everything on earth that is living must be an animal.Bugs are Bugs Fish are Fish Reptiles are Reptiles Mammals Are Mammals and People are stupid.

I would really like to believe that the PETA people are doing this satirically, you know, any-press-is-good-press… I would like to believe that because it sure as hell beats the alternative in knowing that there are people that fucking stupid.

Some of these PETA nut-jobs seriously believe the world would be a better place without people. They literally hate humanity. The logical extension of their philosophy is that they should all commit suicide and stop contaminating the planet.

Now I’m no PETA member, but in terms of the environment, the world probably would be a better place if we weren’t here. Likewise, I don’t generally kill bugs (except mosquitos and roaches) but that’s because I feel sorry for them, does that mean I’m too compassionate?

But the only thing I thought when I saw Obama do that was “damn, that’s not easy and he got it in one try, impressive.” And I also noted that he cleaned up the bug himself after the interview.
Yes, but better for whom? Hopefully, within 100 years, we’ll be a Type 1 civilization and can move on to harvest the natural resources of other planets.

Whatever you say chief.

except for pesky things like plants and fungi and whatnot…

Artem…I agree with your original comments…nice work…

I must say, It would be refreshing to allow Wolves into a PETA HQ and relase, Im sure the PETA members would soon go back to being normal when the Wolves start tearing them to bits.

Fly’s arent animals…

Then what the hell are they?

insects or bugs.

like you wouldnt call H1N1 an animal but it’s still alive

cancer is a living thing too, so does that mean PETA supports cancer?

There’s a difference between cellular organisms and viruses and an actually living, breathing animal. That’s a false analogy.
theres a difference between a fly and a person too.

Jelly fish have no CNS nor circulatory system, is it ok to kill a jellyfish because of those reasons? technically theyre still classified as animals.

a Mollusk is an ‘animal’ too. so are Barnicles.

my point is that it doesnt take much to be considered an “animal”. you dont have to have a brain, a nervous system, lungs, or even move.

I wonder how many PETA members are vegetarians. I wonder how many have there pets protected against heartworms and fleas. lmao

Fly shouldn’t have been loitering like that.

To be classified as an animal, an organism needs to be able to move at least once in its life. Coral and sponges both do that; however, once they find a spot to grow on, they don’t move.

Just being a jackass. I’m going to stop now though.

“The fly was almost called a Land… because that’s what it does half the time.”

Mitch Hedberg

I wonder if the Peta people drive cars. I know I kill A LOT of bugs when I’m driving. You don’t see 'um bitching about cars.

RIP

Damn PETA must have a lot of time on their hands. I think T-Nation as a group should make a video compilation of each person gnawing on pieces of dead animal flesh and send it to PETA. We’ll refer to our selves as PEDA (People for the Eating of Dead Animals)

I’m down.

Of all the things Obama has done/is doing to complain about, this is what they choose? Christ…

I agree 100%. The policies of Peta are counterproductive because they focus on the trite, unchangeable realities of the world. A fly was struck down in the prime of his life, BOO-FUCKITY-HOO.

Hell, with the funding that Peta gets they could probably improve sustainable/HUMANE farming in this country by as much as 50%, BUT THEY DON’T THE FUCKING FUCKHEADS, instead they fucking mass produce “HUMANE” fly taps manufactured by a starving boy in china covered in fucking FLY’S!!!

Alright, now get this… Ben & Jerries Ice cream of Vermont was recently accosted by PETA because their ice cream contains… you guessed it…CREAM! They suggested that the company use HUMAN BREAST MILK as a substitute, even saying that it would be “creamier” that way! Imagine 100 pregnant women lined up in a barn getting their jugs juiced by giant milking machines!

At least Obama didn’t kill the fly and eat it

and then, hideous evil laughter hohohohohohohohahahahahahaha

and then, start strangling the reporter

now THAT would be news

The bigger issue here is not that PETA is crazy (this is something we already all know) but that this actually got time on network news channels. Is this really news worthy? Or does this just show the progression of news media from education based to entertainment based?
