I will also point out something that I point out to critics of US intervention in Korea and Vietnam. I have just read Obama’s actual statement. He calls for a ‘contiguous’ Palestinian state. This would require Israel to be non-contiguous(i.e. cut in half - bantustans). So he pays lip service by saying Israel should be ‘secure’ then goes on to call for it to have indefensible borders and be cut in half.

The problem is that there are thousands if not millions of people who think they are Muslims through their interpretation of their religion and still commit terrorist acts. Christians have done the same thing on a large scale in the past as well. All religions are capable of horrible things as they are tied in with politics (unfortunately).
