If and When this happens will you start to wonder if the election process is rigged? Will you be stunned like with the Bush Re-election?
As it goes now Obama is Very unpopular but i have a feeling his popularity will peak due to well planned events in the year before his reelection. I have a hard time seeing an iconic figure that he was made to be to go down in history as an unremarkable one term president.

I dunno – debt is skyrocketting, employers are reluctant to hire because of his anti-business agenda, consumers are loaded to the gills with debt and won’t be buying new cars, homes, and so on.
The stock market (Dow) is just now making a GENERATIONAL Head-and-Shoulders, which usually portends a huge drop on the order of 50% or more.
The only way I see it is if we are ‘attacked’ and he argues from the POV of changing horses in midstream.
There’s always the remainder of that giant slush fund the Obama Mob borrowed on the backs of the American people. Can’t wait to see how they’re going to use that.

I think this is true - and to be honest I am on the edge of my seat about it. There is definitely a group of people who will go to great lengths - maybe even violent lengths - to prevent this from happening.
Who knows? On the other hand, some racist nutjob or group might attempt or do something unthinkable and the American people rally solidly about Obama.
My small experience in this world is: something will happen that none of us predicted, but looking back it was almost inevitable. Strange, that.

And it’s precisely for this reason that he may get re-elected. They know people have really short memories and a recovery can have an sudden upswing to cause popular opinion to change overnight. That combined with the Unions busing thousands of people to the voting booths can have a dangerous effect in helping to hijack our country.
Really? This is pointless, the election is 3 years away. This is how I think it will work, if republicans gain control of either or both houses in the midterms, we’ll have obama for 4 more years. If democrats continue with large majorities in the midterms, he’ll be gone on 2012. Let’s at least wait till the midterms though. There are no viable contenders as of yet.
"Obamaâ??s lack of resolve even makes comparisons to Carter seem charitable. Financial blogger Eric Salzman argued that we havenâ??t seen such a lack of leadership â??in the White House since our 15th president, James Buchanan, stood by and let the country dissolve into Civil War while trying to appease everyone.â??

He has a slim chance of being elected again. He would lose against virtually anyone the Republicans run against him. His agenda has been rejected but he and the die hard moonbats cannot accept this. Will there be voter fraud, of course, and on a massive scale. That’s why he will most likely lose in a landslide.

right. obama’s inability to get things done has nothing to do with republicans…
also, eric salzman, the man quoted in your article, admits his bias because of his moneyed interests earlier in that same paragraph.[/quote]
Nice way to attack the man and not what he said.
Okay, let’s check the list:
(1) Healthcare, even with a supermajority – nope
(2) Handed the stimulus program over to Harry and Nancy – yep (real leadership there)
(3) Denounces bankers, now thinks they deserve bonuses – yep
(4) GITMO closed – nope
(5) Makes Bush’s spending look like that of a skinflint – yep
(6) Makes Jimmy Carter look brilliant – yep
(6) Obama’s competing with Buchanan for worst Prez ever – a hardy YEP!

The “die-hard moonbats” are quite displeased with Obama themselves. Maybe even more so than middle-of-the-road people.

True dat indeed. We’ll have to wait and see.

Gerald Celente is predicting terror 2010. And our government has said that in the next few months we will be attacked again. What needs to be seen is will people rally behind Obama, or will they turn away from him.
It wouldn’t be unlikely that if there were a successful domestic terror attack in the remainder of the Obama Administration that Obama would blame it on Bush.
And at that point, I suspect much of the public, including independents and moderate Democrats, will suddenly decide to appreciate that no matter how much they may have whined about waterboarding of terrorists and hated Gitmo, for the remaining years of Bush’s two terms there were no successful terrorist acts on American soil.
And they will remember the Obama Administration teaching the terrorists that they have Miranda rights, will receive a full team of lawyers, can expect to be treated to the very finest grade of white-collar Club Fed treatment if caught, etc. and they will not exactly smile upon Obama for this.
