At least he is getting better about his bows.
I think he had to bend down just to be in the same camera shot as the guy
What part of the body is he looking at. Seems a little high to be his shoes.
Let’s revisit–if you’re going to bow, don’t shake hands. Keep eye contact as equals, bow slightly more than a head nod (at least he got the last part mostly right). Looking at the shoes is for subservients not equals. If you shake hands, don’t bow.
T-Shirt for foreign heads of state:
“I met Obama and all I got was a lousy bow job”
It’s almost reflexive for him. We elected a weak beta male and will suffer the consequences for the next three years.
Honestly when was the last time we actually had an Alpha Male as president? All the guys at the top have handlers/special interest groups that tell them what to do. Bush had Cheny. Clinton had Hilary.

The last Alpha Male was Reagan.

Correct, he had a great line when he was told about Gary Hart, who was basically caught running around.

Really? Why not Clinton? He got blow jobs in the white house, started a war, and single handedly recaptured two u.s. journalists trapped in North Korea. That’s absolutely Alpha.
In my opinion Obama is a fine leader so far as well. He has more on his plate than any president in the past 60 years with health care reform, two wars, the biggest economic crisis since the great depression, ominous foreign relations in Iran and Korea, environmental issues which have only recently become a part of politics, and a growing rift in politics between the D’s and R’s. It’s miraculous he has such a high approval rating which is usually above 50%.

Actually, the stuff he is dealing with is very much not unprecedented.

If you say so.

All off the things you mentioned are part of the same old same old. Example. In the 70’s you had Vietnam, foreign relations nightmares, the cold war, the global cooling panic, the eruption on feminism, socialized medicine in the us had just been established, est.
None of the current problems are new.

You’re showing your age.
Research the following:
Korean War
Vietnam War
Civil unrest in 1960s and 70s
Cold War
Recession of late 70s and early 80s along with accompanying inflation and very high interest rates
Iran hostage crisis
Middle East wars between Israel and its numerous enemies
Obama has economic problems because he tried to extinguish a campfire that was creeping outside of the fire ring with…gasoline.[/quote]
Your right, you absolutely know more than I do about what it was like to live prior to the 90’s.
What i will say about Obama’s term thus far is that he came into office with an excess of problems. Issues like health care reform, alternative energy, and environmental standards have been handed down the line for a while now with no major changes made. He is the only president who has seriously addressed these issues. Furthermore, president Bush’s failures with the economy, foreign policy, and national debt have done nothing to help Obama with our current state of affairs. Because of this, it’s going to take a while if things will improve in this country. Obama has been completely forward with that point, he never imagined himself as a panacea.
Agree with push. Ok, GWB gave Obama the economy problems. Obama has tried to pour gasoline on it. He has not reversed Bush policies with economy, he has increased them. I don’t feel reassured by that. In fact, I really dislike that.

Hmmm… I seem to recall him saying, with regard to himself and his divine ascension to power, “I am absolutely certain that generations from now, we will be able to look back and tell our children that this was the moment when we began to provide care for the sick and good jobs to the jobless; this was the moment when the rise of the oceans began to slow and our planet began to heal.”
Now if that’s not panacea – jobs for the jobless, care for the sick, slowing the rise of the oceans, and healing the planet – I don’t know what is.
