I haven’t OLed seriously since Jan of 2004. I PLed last year and am trying my hand at strongman this year. But after my next PL event in April I plan to OL competitively again.
Goals:
Snatch 125kg
Clean and Jerk 150kg
Probably will require a 180 front and 230 back squat.

All done at a bodyweight of 200lbs. Not very good I know, but I was really pleased with the snatch. I’ve always had real problems locking my arms out but today it just seemed to come together.
Think I need to do a bit more specific work on my jerks also. I do the power variety, so none of that splitting for me.

Anybody got any good workouts for Oly lifting? I was trying to write my own programs, but found that I was overtraining and had trouble with recovery. I have been doing Mike Burgener’s “Workout of the day” from his website. The workouts seem to be good and I feel like it’s enough work to see some gains, but not so much work that I can’t recover before my next workout. Any suggestions would be great!
