I think he means we’re training at 12 or 1 (I think thoughts told me noon on Facebook the other day) and then the food joint we’re going to doesn’t open until 5:30 so depending on how much we mess around at the gym, we might not get to dinner til 6 or so.
Am I the only one who is going to be bummed if we are not doing chest or deadlifting? Lol. I’ve got 4 chocolate FINiBARS packed with me, so I’ll be ready to lift all day as long as I’ve got those in me.
Oh! And I pray that someone has a stash of Spike on them that is going. I’m most likely pulling an “all-nighter” tonight (I’d have to wake up in 4.5 hours from now anyway) and I doubt I’ll get much sleep tomorrow night. I’m going to NEED a Spike! I’ll swap a FINiBAR for it, and if you haven’t had the new chocolate FINiBAR, you have no idea what you’re missing!

That 5lb’er is beast, but I will tell you from having done a 4lb challenge before that it is much different doing multiple patties than a one frisbee sized patty. Even if the size is the same, the taste profile is gross and your taste buds want to give up well before you’re full.

I did a 4 lb burger challenge of one big patty. The outside were burnt and tasted like pure charcoal. My brother and I both did it and gave up because we wanted to throw up from the taste alone to begin with. I made 3/4 through and had to stop.

Lol yeah he just said “minados doesnt open at 530” and that kinda confused me. Thanks for reminding me to pack more than 1 FINiBAR, i also should have learned by now to bring a bigger water bottle to these things.
As for deadlifting, not sure if i’m doing that yet or not, hopefully Bev’s has the deadlift thing to lift up the bar to put plates on and off.

Yeah, Minado’s doesn’t start their ‘dinner’ until 5:30, but you want to get there early because it gets insane. Also, they always have a huge plate of sashimi out when they first open the doors, so i like to make sure I grab a good 5 lbs of Tuna for myself!
Definitely load a cooler with some Met Drive to fill the time between training and dinner. Bev’s is a huge facility, so I’m assuming we can find some unused space where big E can go over his posing for a bit.

Definitely a hell of a good time. BSed for a lil bit when we first got to the gym, then everyone went off and hit what needed hitting on that particular day. Chris hung with me destroying delts n’ tris, Thoughts n Ashy did deads, Big E made his legs even scarier, Parsely did,… well, honestly I have no idea what he did -lol, and Cat and Heather (Ashy’s girl) did chest, delts and tris.
After we each took our respective beatings, Thoughts n’ I put E-Bomb through his paces and gave what I truly believe are some great pieces of advice on his poses (mandatories as well as specifically how to emphasize his strengths).
Sure these little get togethers are great in a social gathering sort of way, but being able to talk ‘shop’ is something I don’t really get to do very often. If anyone reading this has the chance to pop in on one of these and hasn’t yet, it’s undoubtedly a worthwhile experience.

I’ve got the vid edited but it takes a bit to upload and I’m pretty swamped so I’m going to upload it tomorrow morning so I don’t have to have the computer light on all night.
It was a GREAT time and I hope we’ll be able to do it again come December if I make the trip back up to PA. Hopefully next time I won’t feel like crap and will be able to really put Jonathan to shame on deadlifts
