Nutrition Tracking App?

I’m looking for a nutrition tracking app…
I’ve never really used anything line that but would like to try .

MyFitnessPal was always my favorite, but they have limited some of the free features.
Cronometer looks like a good substitute.

I’ll have a look - Thx !

Nope!
So help me, I’ve downloaded a bunch and even the ones that look like they’re free are not. I have yet to find ONE free nutrition tracking app.
This is indicative of a problem in our society.
We’re far and greedy!

The cost of a good calorie tracking app is seriously minimal when you consider what you get. Myfitnesspal is like 80 to 90 bucks for the year. A year worth of tracking your calories, macros, etc for less than a hundred bucks.

They are not free because they shouldn’t be. If you want free, get a notebook and do it the old fashioned way.

There’s also the ones that supposedly coach you as well. I think macro factor is one and carbon maybe the other

I understand and appreciate this logic.
My wallet currently doesn’t

I used FatSecret for my last show…its what the free version MyFitnessPal used to be

I also started using FatSecret after MyFitnessPal eliminated some free features. I’ve been very happy with it.

“Lose It” isn’t terrible. The free version is pretty good. I don’t know how it compares to my fitness pal.

Fatsecret works in the free version but only support like 4 meals, so it gets a bit messy when eating 6-7 meals a day. But if you can handle that, it’s a good app in the free version.

I just lump some together

I know this isn’t what was asked, but it works. Until an app can beat this, I’m working analog.

Carb Manager is pretty good and free. it’s tuned for low carb/Keto but you can setup the macro goals yourself. you just have to ignore the carb count warnings.
