Now This Is Inspirational

Rick Hoyt was nearly strangled to death during birth the doctors said he would be nothing more then a vegetable. He graduated from Boston University and is able to communicate with his custom keyboard device. At the age of 15, Rick was depressed and expressed to his Dad that he wanted to compete in a 5k race. His Dad was never a runner but he made a device which allowed him to compete and started practicing 4-5 hours after work every single day. Ricky loved to run with his dad and they have a bond that is unbelievable and it is the only time he felt normal was in competition.

Dick (the father) is an amazing athlete he is able to compete in full out triathlons tugging his son the entire time. Check out this video where the only barriers we put on our bodies is the barriers we put on our minds!

I saw this on a TV show awhile back and it is very inspirational. That father is doing some amazing things to uplift them both.

So did I

After seeing things like this it instills how much more can be done with someones life when they are totally and completely dedicated to a cause or goal. That story is simply amazing. In the words of Ali G Respeck!
