What is the root cause of the high prolactin?
@bigmistake2 Man, forget about manipulating your prolactin with supplements, L-Dopa and shit. I’ve researched and tried all except the dopa. The dopa seems to have more dangerous side effects than the caber.
I’m extremely sensitive to all drugs side effects and I had terrible time with caber. I doubt you will feel as bad. I started very low dose - 0.125mg 2 times per week, it decreased my prolactin a bit and only after 2-3 months stopped experiencing the side effects. Now I’m raising to 2x0.250mg per week.
I dont think you will have so difficult time, but stick with it and suck it up. The side effects DO GO AWAY. Start 0.125 2 times per week, when you stop experiencing the side effects go to 2x0.250mg. This is the dose that may do the job for you, but you may need to go higher. Increase VERY SLOWLY. I recommend taking it 2-4 hours before bed with food.
Dont look at other dopamine agonists. On all of them you will feel worse.
P.S. 5P5 as per my research is more dangerous long term than small doses of cabergoline. I would not play with ANY dopamine supplements at all.
@vonko1988
So you think someone should use cabergoline before they use P5P because cabergoline is safer?
5P5 will first not reduce prolactine in predictive and controlled manner, second it suppresses own dopamine production which is debatable but I would not take the chance.
About caber Ive spent a lot of time researching it and discussing it with Defy Medical. If not overdosed its very safe, even the side effects may feel very bad. Im taking it since April by the way.
I think you are confusing high dose B6 with the activated form P5P. High dose B6 can have unwanted side effects but even they resolve once you stop taking B6.
Of course if you posted your research that shows P5P to be more dangerous than cabergoline that would help your argument.
