My legs were fucked from the high volume of squatting Sunday. I was hobbling around like I was 90 going into the gym. I foam rolled and band stretched, which really fixed me up for awhile. I felt like had I been totally fresh, I could’ve gotten 3 more reps on the 335. Ah well.
As I type this, I am waiting for my legs to go into temporary paralysis.

I couldn’t do Nationals due to not having a total to qualify, but there are a few possibilities for meets. I’ll be moving to Berkeley in August so if nothing else, there is a meet in Sacramento on December 12 (USPF NorCal PL, BP, DL) I’m looking at.

Pissed about only getting 7 on the 345, as it’s not as good as 335 x 10. Oh well, I finished strong with 20 pounds over what I did last week for my sets of 10.
I felt like my rear delts needed some work, so I threw in the pull-aparts in between deads and lunges.
Anyway, my leg is gushing again so it’s time to soak these sweats and apply disinfectant.

So I was intending to hit a good 7 reps on the 245 set, but between that and the previous set I was ‘suspended’ from my gym until further notice.* I had to drive to a friend’s house and finish my workout there and in the time it took to get over there just went cold.
*Some asshole thought he was the shit and went around throwing all the plates under 45lbs off the equipment he was going to use, like he was some bodybuilding badass. A 35lb plate cracked me in the shin (right where I’ve been bleeding) so I picked it up and hurled it at his head. I slapped him while he was on the ground and blew a kiss at his girlfriend when I was asked to leave.
The good news is, the staff had already warned him to stop throwing shit around and to pick up after himself, so they’re not too sympathizing with him. Of course, I also have no idea of his medical condition at this moment, and if it’s serious it will look bad when I’m out of town for the next few days. Too bad, my fucking leg is swollen and bruised already and I have walking to do.
