That’s not what you said. You said these were the objections people in here had to the bill. That’s a pretty big stretch. There is another post on here about some muslim beheading his wife. Maybe that’s that only objection to muslim violence? Maybe you ought to start a thread where we list all of our objections to bill so your not so confused as to why people object.

Your consensus statements hold no water. You just sound silly when you say that. We’ve been over this before. You go ahead and pick through partial analysis and sort the ones that you like. I chose to think for myself and use just a little bit of reason.

This statement tells us nothing. There are facts or calculations behind this.

Again, I do not recall any economy going through double digit inflation and meaningful economic growth. I am prepared to eat crow on this one if some can point to an example.

Please explain what exactly you think this bill will accomplish economically. Then we’ll explore whether or not the problems it seeks to address are short term problems or problems that sort them self out in the long term.

This is complete bullshit. Nobody thinks the GOP is anywhere near where conservatives would like it to be. Plenty of people on this board railed against bush and republicans that supported the bailout. Show me one that defended them and I’ll show you 5 that railed them.

Dems are in power now and are making things worse. Why wouldn’t we rail them? I would be even more pissed if it were republicans doing this. I called and emailed every single republican in my state before and after the bailout. I didn’t vote for Coleman or McCain because of their vote on the bailout.
