$4.1 BILLION!!! $4.1 FREAKING BILLION !!!
That is the amount of PORK slated for ACORN (aka the Black Panthers) in the latest round of taxation theiving (opps sorry, ‘stimulus package’). Can anyone explain why a group known for blatant racial preferences, ballot box stuffing and general idiocy needs $4.1 billion dollars?
You gotta reward the fuckers who went so far as to fake registrations to get you elected…I mean, that’s hard work. Most of the stimulus is a joke… It’s a power grab by Nancy Pelosi.
Is this for real?
Sadly it is. On eo fthe many porks in our stimulus package.
This is pure arrogance.
$4.1 Billion to an organization Obama and the Democrats owe big time…what could go wrong?
What the hell is wrong with these people.

No it’s not.
4.1 billion was not given exclusively to ACORN like Rush would like to suggest.

But are they getting 4.1 billion in a “stimulus” package, or not? Exclusivity isn’t even the issue for me. An organization like that, with all the controversy that surrounded it, and it’s partisanship, getting 4.1 billion in taxpayer money…for stimulus…so soon after he’s sworn in…That’s pretty friggen arrogant.

I’m sorry, reason? My outrage has nothing do with ACORN recieving taxpayer money exclusively, or not, in a stimulus package. My outrage is at this organization recieving taxdollars in a “stimulus” package, period.

Then say that… and don’t imply that they got $4.1 Billion Dollars.

I implied nothing. I asked twice. And, clarified that my outrage isn’t even over whether they recieved it exclusively, or not. This organization getting anything is an outrage. I’m sure you could agree, can’t you?

Making up stuff is really fun!
But no, ACORN is not mentioned at all in the stimulus bill, this is something the right-wing just made up, and Dr. Razor, like all the other sheep in this thread, not much for the “fact-based” world.
the 4.1 billion actually for:
“for neighborhood stabilization activities related to emergency assistance for the redevelopment of abandoned and foreclosed homes as authorized under division B, title III of the Housing and Economic Recovery Act of 2008.”
but another great case study for demonstrating how easily misled republican voters are. Still, just think of all the other fake, made up things Dr.Razor and others in here are “mad” about.
In other words…don’t believe everything Steve Doocy tells you.

I just had to quote this one more time. I mean think about how hilarious this is! Totally untrue, but really mad about it. With multiple exclamation marks!!!
“$4.1 BILLION!!! $4.1 FREAKING BILLION !!!

Just 100% totally made up, and Dr. Razor totally bought it, and got others to buy it too, all mad as hell (by design) about something untrue. Even funnier, he’ll be mad at me for pointing out the lie, instead of the folks who lied to him. Odd.
oooooh failure
So 100meters is just another Democrat telling you that it is OK to spend your tax dolars on things that do nothing to stimulate the economy. The money is going to ACORN, he just is in denial.

Guess it is just part of your ‘perspective’ of what is acceptable and what is not.
And clearly, this is not.

Dude, get a fucking life, Newsmax is trash. “make available to non-profits as well” means any non-profits. Salvation Army, for one could propose a plan and request funds to help implement it. Regardless of how corrupt the government is, people do still need to ask for the money to complete a specific set of goals. And with the new administrations vow to improve disclosure, hopefully we will be able to see all these projects in a searchable database. There are thousands of good non-profits out there who could request funds to make a difference in our communities, just because there is one bad one out there doesn’t mean they will be getting a red cent. Of course if they come up with something good, hell let them have some of the money to redeem themselves.
You are letting the republican talking heads turn you against your brothers. Both parties who are not in power do this because the other side failing is the only way they can re-gain power. If you are supportive of a successful democratic administration, then they will stay in power for as long as they don’t fuck things up. So what do you want more? Republicans back in power? Or a government that works and doesn’t fuck up everything they do? Also our support matters, our senators and congressmen still have to play ball, so if they are nocking down good legislation with philibusters and other bullshit, then we as the minority group need to swallow our pride and vote in people who will at least play ball when the plans will or even could work well.

lol. I’ve never see a republican argue for GREATER government control before. From your link:
Ordinarily, neighborhood stabilization funds are distributed to local governments. But revised language in the stimulus bill would make the funds available directly to non-profit entities
Soooo…you want the government, rather than private agencies, to control money? Is this right?
This is the hackneyed political theater I’m talking about. This revised language in the bill actually supports a commonly held republican belief (contracting out to the private sector)…but because it’s sponsored by dems, the talking heads try to spin it negatively. Utter theater, and harmful to our country.
