No drama is my new version of no worries. Everyone around me has started saying no worries and it’s been bugging me so I’m trying to stop saying it.

Agreed. It’s still on the journey from shit to suck but I’m not in any way disappointed in my progress

Nah. I use an axle for all my pressing. No issues in that regard.

And reps

@Voxel Kroc and other big dudes tend to press that way due to mobility limitations. I personally wouldn’t do it artificially, and would instead go as far as ROM permits.

Appreciate the input, have you paid any heed to how your grip width relates to your elbow? I see your hands are somewhat wide, when I press I’ll end up having my elbows out wider than my hands. Don’t know if that’s good/bad. I wouldn’t expect you to have analysed it that much, but maybe you @Cyrrex has some thoughts on that.

It looks like @T3hPwnisher elbows get to move more or less straight up and down meanwhile mine are travelling in an arc.

A lot of folks tell me I grip wide, whereas I think too many people grip too narrow on the press and try to make it all tricep.

After reading this I looked at images of Alsruhe and you, Kroc, and him seem to employ similar mechanics with regards to what I’ve been looking at as a potential thing holding my own pressing back.

Climbing

Did a bunch of pitches, my mate was trying out a new break so wasn’t to adamant about logging as I was ā€œforcedā€ to take falls for the sake of him becoming accustomed with it. Tried some stuff, most of it was fairly okay with regards to my intended intensity level. One was severely sandbagged so I overshot my intended effort on it but didn’t experience any negative sides from that.

Had one goal going in, which was to re-try a… 6a? Anyway, I had perceived it to have a weird flow after the overhang and I wanted to try it again. It went a lot smoother today despite fatigue. So, just climbed it wonky first time around.

Eating

I’m not doing the modicum approach at the moment, but gaining rather aggressively. I don’t have the mental energy at the moment to eat the same, exercise the same, and eat just a tad more. I don’t have the inclination to do the first, the energy to do the latter, and the fortitude to do the last. I’ll accrue some fat, but, I have to gain weight so if it has to be sloppy then that’ll have to do as long as it means weight gained.

Triceps

Benching today felt like it was done completely with my front delts. Need to engage the triceps in that lift better. Any ideas welcome. My own ideas are limited to testing close-grip incline in the smith. Maybe Tate Press.

What is it that you are looking to improve when stopping trt?

Verify that anemia returns along with low T (after giving T enough time to rebound) to ensure that my previous blood results were not explained by undernourishment/overexercising.
