I need a new email program. I’ve used Outlook for so long I don’t know what else it out there for PC. Any suggestions?
Mozilla makes one. I think it’s called Thunderbird. I use it at my office and at home, but I don’t live and breath by the email.
Here are a few that tend to have less bloat than outlook.
ThunderBird (Thunderbird — Make Email Easier. — Thunderbird)
Pegasus (www.pmail.com)
Eudora (www.eudora.com)
Poco Mail (www.pocosystems.com)
Netscape (www.netscape.com)
They have firefox as a replacement for IE (tabbed browsing + reduced security issues) and thunderbird as a replacement for Outlook.
I’m happy with Mozilla, so I’ll give Thunderbird a shot. Thanks!
Where can you set up an e-mail account for Thunderbird???

You’ll be glad you did.

Thunderbird is a program, not an actual e-mail service itself. It’s like Microsoft Outlook Express… only better.
I understand I have been trying to set mine up (I use firefox and a lot of addons) but I can’t figure out it out just like outlook you need an account somewhere so that you can download it from onto your computer.
Mozilla Firefox dominates over Internet Explorer!
Yes but how do you get it work
Take a look here: Thunderbird Help
It’s everything you need to know.
