I absolutely love watches so I’ll start off with one of my favs. I don’t have a huge collection, but do have a few nice ones. My casual watch that I bum around in is a black Nixon Diplomat that my gf bought me that I really like. It isn’t the fanciest thing in the world, but feels appropriate for just wearing around in jeans and a tshirt. I also have a dressy Gucci, a Hamilton, and a Tissot. The Speedmaster is just a great watch and I wear it to work nearly every day. Next purchase I think will be a Breitling Airborne or a vintage Poljot.
This omega is a timeless piece of beauty. I will own one eventually, but a chronograph isn’t my primary desire… I don’t time anything, so it doesn’t serve purpose for all the extra functions.

Who the fuck still wears a watch?
It is going to way of the pocket watch.

I do. Of course I am old. But I also don’t use electronics on Shabbos. I can look at it angrily when the Cantor is going long. Hence, true mechanical watches.
Yes, that’s mine. I will reluctantly out-douche SM.
Watch is neither here nor there for me, but I like that shirt design.

Thought the same thing. Purple and white herringbone, right?

Blue. I think the purplish tint is flash or maybe the florescent lights. Blue is my edgy color. Normally just white.

Great collection, BrownDisaster. What’s the last watch on the right?
The one with the black band is some old cheap Casio. I want a timex weekender like above for something cheap
I’ve tried to like it. It’s mechanically very cool.
But I really can’t stand it, but I wanted to show a watch I own that is suppose to be really cool, but is not.
Now, it does keep impeccable time, has an easy-to-use chronometer, and is indeed waterproof to some depth as I wear it scuba-diving because I don’t care what happens to it. Also has a really cool back where you can see the weight and spring spin around when bored on a call.
Long story how I ended up with this watch, and I will say defend myself saying I did not pick it. I hold it up as an example of money not equaling taste.
In the roast of Justin Beiber, I believe Martha Stewart described it well.

Good taste is good but “clearly has good taste but is such a motherfuckin Fonz he chooses to express his utter indifference to it” is better.
Here’s another watch I have that I don’t wear very much, but I like it, a Yacht Master. It’s a little flashy for daily use to me. I bought it on a beach vacation because it seemed the thing to have.
Because of my disuse, Mrs. Jewbacca generally absconds with it and wears it because she likes the uncluttered dial. She can apparently time contractions with it easily, but I snagged it today and wore it.
Not sure what I think about the trend of women wearing large men’s watches, but it appears to be here to stay.
