How about April 26th (Sat.) in Tysons Corner? Anyone else who wants in chime in now. Lets see just how many t-men/vixens we have out there!
I’m game. ![]()
I’m up for 4/26 in Tysons.
I’d be up for it as well.
Just read this post, and im freakin out!I live in Fairfax, VA, 10 minutes from tysons. Hell yea im in!
What time?
OK, so we have a date and area. How about PF Changs, The Daily Grill, or Maggianos at Tysons II (The Galleria)? I figure that any of those should be easy to find since they’re in the mall. Plus, they are yummy. ![]()
dcb,
good choices. Also – some Sushi bars or steak houses.
To accommodate those on strict diet or doing Hot-Rox challenge. ![]()
I’m thinking about maybe 6:30/7:00 PM ish. How about everyone else? I hate eating late at night.
Stella
Sushi is great, and of course steak houses are my favorite. PF Changs may have sushi, that’s actually one of the reasons that I suggested it. But we may want to check on that to make sure. I almost typed in The Palm and Mortons, but I didn’t want to assume that people would want to drop $100 on one dinner. What steak houses were you thinking of?
Tysons corner is a bit far away from where I’m at… But I’m in Blacksburg, VA @ VA Tech. Anyone that goes to Tech who posts on this forum, maybe we could get together and lift at War or McComas sometime. Just holla back at me.
dcb,
You’re right. I wasn’t thinking about the price tag, and not everyone would want to spend $100 or so on a meal.

Hi Stella,
I am ex-military with experience in Operations, Training and Logisitics. So I am interviewing for an Operations Officer job in DC, a Training Manager in Virginia, and Implementation Manager in West Virginia.
I am curently the Deputy Director of the Office of Emergency Preparedness for my town in Connecticut.
Best of Luck.
Hey, count me in. That sounds great. Just tell me the time and place. I’ll be there!!
Older Lifter,
Sounds very challenging!
Good luck!
Date: May 17, 2003 Saturday
Time: 7:00 PM
Place: Sweetwater Tavern, Merrifield VA
Why: How about great beer, steak, and our guest of honor Mike Mahler, who came to the area all the way from California! ![]()
FYI – The restaurant does not take any reservation. But it has a phone-ahead option. I’ll call ahead of time at 6:30 PM. Please note that the reservation will be for Stella/Party of 7. (I don’t know how many will show up, but I’m guessing around 7 – if we have confirmed list of people (and the number of their guests) that’ll be very helpful)
Another FYI – The restaurant does not seat an incomplete party, so please try to be there on time.
Another FYI – Even if you’re not from NoVa/DC/MD, but are a T-man/vixen and will be in the area on May 17, you’re more than welcome to join us. ![]()
