No To Egg Whites

ATLEAST for me that is. I hate egg whites and personally eat whole eggs always. Every morning for me is the same give or take…whey upon waking up…about an hour later ill eat 4-6 whole hard boiled eggs with oatmeal and some fruit and whole milk. Fuck cholesterol.

Well just to make you gag, I often eat 12-16 egg whites in my first meal after a workout.

I will agree with facko here… i will eat whole eggs as opposed to egg whites simply for the omega fats you get from the yolk. There is also no evidence yet that supports the direct link between eating too much cholesterol and heart disease. Load me up…

Usually it’s because I’m too lazy to buy some chicken/beef and it’s a easy source of protein.

Add a bowl of mixed veg and some other carbs and it’s all good.

Plus it’s fun peeling eggs. :slight_smile:

I too used to seperate the egg whites/yolk.
But not anymore!
I now eat the whole egg, the whole chicken, and sometimes the animal that`s just eaten the chicken that i wanted to eat myself :wink:

I made the switch from egg whites to whole eggs in January. I am now leaner than I was.

I hate to break it to you chief… but if you are eating the whole egg you are still eating the egg whites.

All joking aside I agree. Not sure this needed an entire post though. And hopefully you realize what a joke it is to relate your egg intake to your cholesterol level. Hopefully we all know by now what a weak link there is between blood cholesterol levels and dietary cholesterol intake, at least for most people.

Yea I agree with you…The post itself was not so much about eggs entirely, but more so about the enormous over analysis of nutrition. Where it was once drink whole milk and eat whole eggs…now people drink fat free milk, egg whites, no white rice, no pasta, and on and on.

Its really simple…if you lift relatively heavy, focus on compound stuff…and do it 4-5 times a week. You WILL grow…even if you eat 3 square meals you WILL grow. Not saying it isnt optimum to eat more often because I agree it is…but…as long as you eat a pretty balanced diet with emphasis on protein…you will grow.

Yes to RAW EGGS!
I just down 4-8 raw eggs on occasion cuz I got to do it Hulk Hogan style! (Cage-free naturally fed off the land chickens are the eggs which I do this with, no way in hell I would go to Dillons and even think about trying this with those worthless POS eggs)

I drink around 3 cups of egg whites per day and have been for likely close to 6 months now.

However when cooking them I consume at least 3-4 whole eggs with some whites added.

I like eggs
But I have an allergy to them.

It sucks

In the year 2000, there will be an infomercial glorifying raw egg yolks as the new miracle food. They will be selling for $20 per dozen raw egg yolks. People will buy them because they believe everything on TV and are too lazy to separate yolk from white.

I almost always eat whole eggs. It’s a lot easier to cut out fat elsewhere.
