No Source Posting Petition

I agree with the statements made by Schwartzy although I’m a new comer I understand the importance of being discrete. Online gear is a hit and miss game and It’s best if you have your own hook up. If you know about AAS then you’ll know where to find it cause it’s not hard to find.

I support this petition.

Naming sources on public forums can be the first step in the next “Raw Deal”. Also, if you don’t have the intelligence to find a source using the necessary discretion, you probably don’t have the intelligence to safely use AAS.

Schartzy,
Thank you once again for developing another intelligent, thoughtful, and informative post.

I Vote Yes. No names of legitimate sources to be posted here.

Will that include the noobe question, “is XXX legit?” to be either modified first, or eliminated?

cheers

count me in…

first of all, you could be asking about a scammer site that one of us is running, which you wouldn’t know and we could say its the best thing since sliced bread!!! how hard is it to google said site followed by scam? this isn’t a source site… its a FORUM!!! now if you were dea and did a search for good gear sites… you wouldn’t get far… thats why those “newbies” come here… maybe i’m just paranoid???

I do support this petition.

My reasons being the same at the OP’s.

Naming good and reputable labs may also force them to shut down. You are screwing yourselves over by doing this anyway.

Holy crap…this is only my 3-4 post and I know better…

No source posting…in this game you take chances and unless you know the difference between getting scammed -vs- a supplier having issues (legal-supplies) causing a delay, then you risk un-covering a good source and cheating yourself as well as others.

First day here and I can’t believe how many names I’ve seen thrown out in my reading…shouldn’t this be moderated?

I support this petition.

This is T-Nation, afterall, not some back alley behind the local Gold’s.

Loose lips sink ships.

There are already too many non violent prisoners in the US jails, due to our ridiculous drug laws. Keeping things cool may not be a solution, but it sure as hell will prevent the Feds from adding more to these numbers.

I support

For obvious reasons…Do not want the reasoned to suffer becauseof the irresponsible…

I am glad to see resounding support for this petition. The only arguments against this petition seem to be obvious public service posts.

First, if a lab has been busted then the information regarding that lab would be made public anyway during the legal proceedings, and it would no longer be a source, so I see no reason in banning this information provided there is more than anecdotal information (press release or linked documents would be needed).

Second, if a source is selling fake or dangerous products then it would be a public service to post a warning, however this could be used as propaganda. Example, I own company X and say that company Y sells junk gear, thus boosting my reputation/sales by eliminating the competition. We have seen this plenty of times with research chem companies. While there is potential good for this sort of posting I think this is the most significant gray area with total banning of sources. Then again there are plenty of external sites that have this information so it’s not like we’d be keeping it a secret. If concerned you could always send out a mass PM.

The third issue is the extent to which names can be posted. Should there be total banning, partial naming (Chem*** research, or Ch*****), or just completely star out the name? This could lead to problems with no set standard (which is very difficult to make), as I may think the first example is okay but others may think the second is better, and some may think it’s not warranted at all. In my opinion even partially starred out names can give significant information. I think that if someone has a concern they should just PM one of the senior members of this board (or anyone for that matter) who would likely know.

This may all seem restrictive, but it would certainly save us all problems in the long run. I would like either complete source banning or receptive moderators who will delete posts given enough community support. If either of this do not happen I guess we’ll all have to just ignore people who post source names. While people may track the names to this forum at least they wouldn’t get any additional information. Unfortunately there is always someone who gives a legitimate response to these posts, necessitating moderator support.

I support this completely.
This is a great site.
I’m new to posting but see alot of fucking nitwits posting stupid questions, asking for sources and naming sources.
I hope the mods. can put an end to it.
It’s been proven over and over that the information shared on web sites such as these provide leads to the feds.
Let the fuckers go somewhere else for their info and if something slips through by some idiot continue to let them know their not welcome here.

As for discussing bad gear… if you’ve got a “friend,” you wouldn’t get bad gear. Hooray for friends; boo to source requests!

This seems like a good idea to me. I support it too.

I was somewhat surprised to learn that the US, while only comprising 5% of the world’s population, holds 25% of the world’s prisoner population. And as you mentioned, much of this can be attributed to misguided policy and the failed “war” on drugs.

I would have to agree. Keep your mouths shut newbs.

I DO support this petition!!! There have been a lot of newbies asking for and posting sources on here in the last little bit. IMO, If you don’t have a secure source by the time you decide to start using gear, then you have’nt done enough research to even begin using in the first place.

I Support this…

Posting sources is not a good idea because it draws unwanted attention to this board from both law enforcement and newbies only interested in scoring steroids.

I would suggest that if you know enough about AAS to use them properly and safely then you would not need to ask where to get steroids or if a certain lab is reputable. Ask these questions in a PM to people you know and trust.

If you are not ready for AAS (given the simple criteria above) I would suggest checking out Biotest’s line of supplements here, as they are high in quality and work well. Many of the people here who use AAS also use Biotest products both during and off cycle.

This thread is a petition to ban posting full and recognizable names of sources, labs, people, etc. that sell steroids.

Please post in this manner to make it easy to keep track of your thoughts on this matter:

[i]I do/do not support this petition.

I support this petition. There is no reason why any and all source information cannot be gathered in a discrete manner.
