I’ve been on and off here since 2001, I just get bored with the same ole’ “I’m a vet! You shut up and do some research!” I came back due to the new look, hoping things have changed. The only thing that has changed is the look, it’s still the same assholes, with exception of a few guys who help the “newbies”. And most of those guys live “across the pond”. No wonder other countries think Americans are assholes. The world doesn’t revolve around you, rainman. Like I’ve seen a thousand times on here, if you don’t like what someone posts, don’t read it!

I never post at boards I have recently joined - not until I have read the older threads, and figured out what the vibe is like.

I’m convinced that about 70% of people in public education, at the high school level, are simply a waste of resources. They are functionally illiterate and innumerate, and always will be.
I’ve been teaching for 27 years, some public and some private. The best thing public schools could do for society is close down. Set up academies for those with any intellect.

The title of this thread is “Greg Valentino: Don’t Be This Guy”. It pretty much speaks for itself. No need to read it. But as far as the steroid forum goes, in particular, I probably agree with you. I don’t think the same position is called for in the entire site. It seemed to me that you were taking more of general position. I guess not.

RJ is very knowledgeable; he has helped me a lot. He also says it just like it is. If that offends you, don’t read his posts/threads.
