Got to the river real early in anticipation of the heavy down pour that was predicted, and never came. 1500m. Will start increasing the distance to get ready for the PI.

I’ve made it a goal to get back to a strict clean and press of 10 lbs over my BW (215 now) so a 225 before I bid adieu to what was the very first goal of my lifting life I accomplished.

17 Jan - Swam 1500m. Rain caused the river to rise a tad so the current made it easy going out and a little harder coming back.

18 Jan - Throwing, a little harder than normal practice. 6 laps after.

Steady rain this morning so didn’t throw. Did get out and run a quick mile and came back nice and soaked. Wife baked me a really nice piece of salmon for lunch. After the meet on Saturday going to change my workouts to a lot more swiming and I’ll eliminate all machines, except for those using an over head pulley,from my lifting. Getting ready for my more simplified gym and the ocean in the Philippines. Will definitely increase my escrima, kali practice, too. The gym is very multi functional.

Pre meet meal consists of:
Extra lg bowel of Ramen w/sliced pork and eggs
Both sushi (from Sis in law 2) and Kimbap (from sis in law 4).
Stocked up on Gummi so ready for tomorrow. Hoping for some good competition.

Long day yesterday. Started with the shot and ended with the discus. Kudos to the USATF judges. New their business and kept the competition going smooth. 2 Flights in both throws, 3 prelim throws, top 6 to the finals of each and 3 more throws. Long story short, broke my new set SE Master’s records and set the new ones. I was a little disappointed. A couple of the competitors I expected to show up didn’t make. Think this will be my last meet. Time too get ready for going to the Philippines.
Started the day early with a 1500m swim and the a 2 mile run. Good thing I did them early cause the Tstorms hit after lunch.
