Three days without rain is known as “the summer”
In 1987-8 I went to all RAF Bases with USAF missions. At one point I think it’d been as high as the mid 20’s C with no rain for 2 weeks and the country was acting like it was Simo74’s picture above.

I’m only surprised it got that hot :grinning:

Many years ago did a ANZUS (Australia, New Zealand, United States Security Treaty) exercise outside of Woomera in South Australia. Looked pretty much like this.

Another meet come and gone. Lots, and lots, of competitors. Very warm too. Anyway, Sht and Discus = 1st place. Set Alabama records. More important to me I got my sought after distances of 50m with a 50.12m /164’ 4 1/2" and 15.85m/52’.

Couple of long distance pictures from a competitors wife. Top one is a very good friend of mine and myself. Just to show I’m not just picking on the little people.

Next meet in 2 weeks so still going to practice my “hold, hold, hold, now!” method. (Patent Pending).
Almost forgot. River swim this morning as the sun was comming up. 1500m. Felt great.

Great to see you coming home with the Gold Harry. Never doubted it for a minute. I am not sure I can run 50m let alone throw a frisbee that far

You’d be surprised how many people pick up a discus and try to throw it that way.
