What was the Alfred Hitchcock tv show where the wife kills hubby with a leg of lamb then serves it to the cops?

Lamb to the Slaughter, 1958. Had to look that up.

Got to the home gym early, 6:15am, temp was 30c/86f and 74% humidity with totally dead air. Not a wisp. Finished up and ran the 200 or so meters to the beach, kicked of my shoes and dove in. Just lolled around in the surf doing my beached whale impression for a few minutes. Home to a cold shower. Feel great. Chicken Adobo for lunch coming up.

Solid SOHP numbers. Very impressive. That’s a lift I have always sucked on.

Tuesday - Dead lifting. 60k wu, 85k x 6, 100k x 5, 125k x 4, 140k x ā€œI felt the earth move under my feet, (Carol King)ā€. Thought my legs were giving out for a second. Mag 7 quake with the epicenter about 60 klicks from here. Headed home, some minor damage on the street, a few aftershocks, but the neighborhood escaped any real damage.
Wed - Drove around to our properties to see how everything held up. Picked up lots of coconuts but that was about it. One wall with some minor cracks in it. Put a nephew in charge of repairing it.
Thurs - Kata, sticks, knives, heavy bag
This morning - nice 2k swim to 1.5k hill run. Think I’ll try deadlifting again tomorrow.

Wow, that is a big quake not that far away. Glad to hear only minor damage. Surely there is an easier way to get coconuts.

Good luck with the deadlifting.

Tapestry, such a great album.

Great news on escaping real damage, that’s a pretty hefty quake, so close. Good Karma, deservedly.

Finally got back to the deads today and had a pretty good back day.
Dead lifting - 65k wu, 85k x 6, 100k x 5, 130k x 4, 160k x 2
Stiff arm pulldowns - 20k 12, 25, 30k x 10
Bent row - 65kwu, 85 x 12, 100 x 10
Seated on the ground pulldowns w/close grip - 85k x 12 x 3
Had a good work out. Overcast so not as hot as it’s been. Pulling with a ā€œstandardā€ bar is harder for me than with the Oly. Harder to get a grip with the skinner bar. Single pulley lifts are, duh, harder. Vaguely remember the physics of pulleys. The weight end gets to swinging, too. We’re gonna hook up a few more pulleys to reduce the swing.

Usually the nephews just climb up and pick them. Had to cut a couple down cause they were falling in the backyard and can do some serious damage if they hit someone.

I think the rule for pulleys is everyone you add is supposed to cut the load in half. Or something like that. Of course it depends on where the pulley is put as well.
