It’s not about smarts. It’s survival instinct. Just like you folks rallied around hard-liners after 9/11, Iranians do the same. If the current escalation of tension between the Washington and Tehran continues, chances are that conservatives will remain in power in Iran.

Your initial point was that you thought that 9-year-old marriages didn’t happen (You didn’t initially start trying to defend the Iranians or say that 9-year-old marriages were abhorrent - you only started to do this when I proved to you that they do happen). I have never said they are good or bad I have only said that they occasionally happen, and this is supported by their government (when people find out the girls is nine years old nothing happens).
You say I come off as younger than 25 because I pepper my comments with the word “fuck” or one of its derivatives, well thats only because I am Australian and if you have spent much time with an Australian you will know that every second word is “fuck” or one of its derivatives.
