NO For Recovery

hey, i was thinking lately about using some nitric oxide type supplements pos workout soley for quicker recovery.

i guess my theroy is that it would increase the blood flow post workout and increase the nutrients to the muscles. i’m not concerned about the “pump” effect, but was thinking this could really enhance recovery.

is this idea sound, or not all that necessary?

thanks,

Cyco

If NO products produced greater blood flow and increased the amount of nutrients that go into muscle, then it would enhance recovery. But NO products do not enhance blood flow (significantly) and even if they did, who says the muscles are “willing” to consume any more nutrients than they normally would?

Search button, use it.

We cover the fact that NO is virtually useless pretty much every week in a new thread here.

Wow, that’s quite a theory you have.

I think that if there was any remote possibility that this COULD happen, it would be on the bottle label and splashed across pages and pages of Muscle and Hormone Magazine so that they could dupe more people than they already have. But you want to go off label of something that doesn’t work and is basically worthless to try your “theory”? Feel free to waste your money however you want.

Why don’t you spend your hard earned money on Surge, which has been proven to quicken recovery and deliver nutrients directly to the muscles as quickly as possible?

okay.

The theory is dead on, but the only known nutritionally-mediated way to improve nutritive blood flow is through pre-workout feeding.
