It makes sense (at least as much as anything on this show). The carver wanted to make a big statement and he figured people would pay more attention if they knew the carver was a respected plastic surgeon. So that would mean revealing himself. But obviously he doesn’t want to be cought.
Oh, and he didn’t carve himself. Kit did. That’s why Sean commented that Q’s own carving was sloppy. Sean made the mistake of thinking that the carver was getting sloppy, when it was really Kit’s work that time.
I have to admit, they did a great job. You know how when you watch some sceene where someone MIGHT get a limb chopping or get killed, you just know he’ll make it because he’s a major character? Well I didn’t have that feeling for this show. They’ve made it clear that anything could happen. I was betting that Christian would come out of this with one less hand.

I agree, I didn’t like the twist… Well, I take that back. I liked the twist for the most part.
I didn’t like how they got away, though. I thought that for two plastic surgeons, two smart men, going to the cops with the picture would’ve been a simple option.

They did nothing but look at each other. I’m wondering if the pursuit of Kip and the dickless wonder won’t be a storyline for next season.

I think it’s Kit, actually, but I agree, that was my thought. Something to add to next season.
However the show never really strays far from where they reside (is it Miami?), so I can’t see Kit and Man-less wonder having their own little stint - nor can I see them coming back around Florida, I mean come on, the police have to know!
Also, that whole thing with Matt, the Supremecists and the transvestite never got cleared up. They showed what they showed, then Matt showed up at the house at the end like he’d had a rough day at the office… Not like he had just gone through whatever had happened.

I like the series but I prefer to wait until the DVD for the season is released, then watch the entire season over the course of several days.
