Background: 22 YO male. I work in real estate throughout the day. I’m looking for some suggestions for night work from the old, experienced and wise members of this forum on what to do at night for some extra $$$. Specifically 2-3 weeknights from 6p-12a and 12p-2a on Saturdays.
What have you done in the past?
What do you know about that’s available now?
If you are a business owner who employs people to work hours like these what do you do?
I have already considered bar tending so please do not suggest that. Thanks in advance!
Just something to do to pick up some extra $$$. Instead of sitting in front of the TV watching the TBS lineup from 6-10 then going to sleep I’d rather be out making some more money a few nights a week.
I was a security guard for 3 months at a hotel and it was fucking boring. I like doing nothing at my jobs but that one took the cake. I might as well be sleeping.

Must be a legal way of making money [/quote]
Well you could do the security like someone was saying which would pay you plus you would get to probably read or something I imagine. Realistically, the most efficient ($/hr) you are going to get is probably going to be in the food/drink service industry.
convenience stores/gas stations are always looking for someone.
supermarkets and big box stores like Publix, Home Depot, Wally World, and Lowe’s hire nighttime stockers and weekenders.
I worked PT at a Lowe’s keeping the storeroom straight, loading customer vehicles, doing deliveries, and helped in various depts as I had electrical/construction experience.
loading up a couple of pallets of sackrete in a PU, enough lumber for a good size deck, or delivering a 25cuft SS fridge up a couple of flights of stairs will keep you from getting bored. also got an employee discount and first shot at refurbished equip.
