And it’s still kind of normal. You do realize lab ranges decrease every other year? It was 1500 and 27 free t not long ago. Yet this says you are high. Serious bullshit . Don’t lower dose becusse of a stupid lab and don’t be scared because a lab says it’s high. A lab range that researchers who love insurance
Companies created.

Yes - @NH_Watts, I’ve been EOD for over a year at this point but with varrying doses. I’ve been on 40mg EOD since January.

The blood draw was around 11:30am on the day of my next injection. Which is the same time I normally get blood at the doctor too.

I can’t understand why these numbers are so much higher than the doctors office. I wasn’t planning on getting blood this week at my appointment and was going to use the Ulta/Quest numbers, but now I want to get blood drawn at the doctor to see what theirs comes back at. Hope it’s not too high for their liking.

I feel pretty good actually…aside from a few most recent times where I’d go limp mid sex, I generally feel good. 16 hours post shot, I can feel everything feel better.

Just hoping the doctor doesn’t give me a hard time about the levels.

@NH_Watts - how much pineapple are you usually eating? I’m interested in giving this post workout meal a shot. Thanks.

1/2 cup pineapple, 1.5 cup white rice, 5oz turkey

Sup bro? Hope your feeling well.

So I got my results from 23 and me back, and I was hoping you could help me figure out what to do.

I want to use the genetic testing to look at my diet and or other health issues. I know you said you found the information about the vitamin D. Where do I start?

The ONLY variant that came back detected for me was Type 2 diabetes.
@NH_Watts

Feeling well, busy getting ready for a party tomorrow. Here you go brother: https://www.foundmyfitness.com/genetics

Are you happy with your results? How much did it cost?

I saw another site called DNAfit, but saw that maybe they were in some kind of scandal?

Anyway… Cool man im definitely gonna use this.

This one is kind of scary.

Im still sorting through all of it. It is very cool. I think it was $10.

I’ll have to check it out. I did 23 and me a while back and found out I’m Irish. My whole life I thought I was Italian. Lol

Is free. How much more stuff does the one that you used provide?

Not sure, Id need to see the report. The one from Dr. Patrick is 19 pages long. Here is the overview, " This comprehensive report includes the SNPs in all of the basic reports and a few more in addition, too.

Some of the SNPs included affect the bioavailability and metabolism of micronutrients including vitamins D, C, B12, A, folate, omega-3, iron and more. This report looks at SNPs that can influence metabolism including the response to various types of fat (saturated fat, polyunsaturated fat, monounsaturated fat) and carbohydrates (i.e. complex carbohydrates vs. simple carbohydrates), which may influence blood pressure, blood glucose levels, circulating LDL cholesterol and triglycerides, obesity, cardiovascular risk, and more. It also focuses on SNPs relevant to cholesterol metabolism and HMG-CoA reductase inhibitors such as statins. It looks at certain SNPs involved in the inactivation of heterocyclic amines which are procarcinogens formed when meat is cooked at high temperatures. It looks at SNPs involved in exercise performance, sleep, and those that can have a direct or indirect influence on longevity."

Hey @NH_Watts how is the DHEA supplementing doing?

Something has been “off” with me and I’m going to get my dheas tested on Monday.

This started after I drank Bang (200-250) mg caffeine like 4-5 times a week for about 2 months. It DID lower my e2 a bit but something else is off.

I have this weird fatigue, can’t put my finger on it. Will come in waves. Sometimes don’t notice it at all, other times I’m yawning.

Feel zeroed, But randomly tired. Not just low energy, but a weird, almost like hangover type malaise.

Everything else is great. Good workouts, good motivation.

I read that caffeine lowers DHEA. Maybe I’m still recovering, but something is definitely off.

Wondering where your labs and symptoms are Bro.

Symptoms all but disappeared. No more fatigue. No more memory issues. I haven’t had DHEA or pregnanolone tested since supplementing so will get those checked next month maybe. I have my Endo appt next Friday so have been at 55mg @ twice a week for a while. No noticeable changes with that really. If anything I dropped a little bloat as my vascularity is popping lately. More than ever before in my life. Scales not REALLY moving but Im not really watching my calories or anything. I stick mostly to the diet outlined by physio but cut back a bit on the rice. Based on my genetic reporting I should really be trying to avoid saturated fat because apparently I don’t process it well so it gets stored. Polys are fine.

Im also taking 3 grams of l-tyrosine a day @ physios rec. So hangovers are a thing of the past as well LOL.

Had labs done yesterday for Endo, on trough day, so he should be happy. Last time they were a little high because the draw was midway. I fucked that up. He is only testing total T ALT AST hematocrit, Alk phosphate, and bilirubin. I did lift before it so that will fuck some of those numbers up. Hope he gets that.

Maybe you are having adrenal issues?

That’s what I’m suspecting. I think maybe the caffeine threw me into a little adrenaline fatigue? Or just strained them. It’s been less and less ever since I backed off the caffeine so I suspect that has a large part to do with it (physio specifically told me to not fuck with caffeine and I did anyway) lol idiot.

Dheas also created by adrenals so that’s why I was concerned. Will get dheas tested Monday or Tuesday. It’s just this weird fatigue. Everything else seems pretty good. It’s not constant either.

What’s your dhea/preg combo look like?
