I would imagine the preg would take a few days to work just like anything else. I imagine empty stomach would probably be OK, especially if that’s what you have been reading. I hate how some supplements tell you ā€œeither wayā€ but in reality, one way WILL affect absorption negatively.

So boron gave you some of that mental clarity back? What about the motivation aspect? Still lacking? I am going to do a E2 test in about 5-10 days to see if my VitD/Fish Oil/Collagen Combo has any effect, then if am stable, I will probably add the 3mg of Boron as well to my supp stack. Its too cheap not to, and if physio recommends, it, then I am on board.

Motivation a bit too yes. And a bit of mood elevation. My 8 year old called me out for dancing a few times in the kitchen. I didnt even realize I was LOL. ā€œOMG DADDY STOP THAT!ā€ Hahaha. Dad shakin their hips is just gross.

Third day on pregnenolone but nothing noticeable yet.

Blood work later this week or next for TT, FT, E2, etc. Going on 7 weeks @ consistent protocol.

I’ve been on Preg for a couple weeks now and don’t notice anything different. Might take a while.

I was taking dhea as well and It sky rocketed in 5 days time.

So why is boron so important???

Physio has a post on here that he started last week. He posted about the benefits. check er out

That’s funny. Its incredible how your mood will subconsciously affect your entire existence, even if you don’t know it. Similarly, I knew that I was ā€œback in businessā€ when I would start head banging to music either on the way home from work or in the gym. Its just like this ā€œpumped for lifeā€ feeling. I love it.

Curious to see if the boron will have any effect on your e2, that is one of my only worries with it. But if it truly lowers SHBG, it should also raise free E2 as well. SO maybe it counter balances? I am almost afraid to try it being that I feel so good right now and have been smashing it in the gym.

Edit: Your at like 200 a week right now right? No AI?

Currently im doing 50 twice a week IM.

I found this podcast extremely interesting regarding HRT in females and how the myth that it causes breast cancer came about. These doctors dig deep into the facts and show that the Women’s Initiative Study was extremely flawed.

the role of hormone replacement therapy through menopause and beyond—the compelling case for long-term HRT and dispelling the myth that it causes breast cancer

ā€œIn this episode, Avrum Bluming, hematologist, medical oncologist, and emeritus clinical professor at USC, and Carol Tavris, social psychologist and author of Mistakes Were Made (But Not By Me), discuss their collaboration on their recent book, Estrogen Matters. Their book takes on the very polarizing and confusing topic of hormone replacement therapy for women suffering with symptoms of menopause. In many ways, the story and history of HRT is in striking parallel to the bad science that led up to the dietary guidelines being set forth in 1980. Carol and Avrum make a compelling case that most women benefit greatly from being on postmenopausal hormone replacement therapy, and can do so without increasing their risk of breast cancer. We also cover the history of HRT, the impact of the Women’s Health Initiative, and take a deep dive into each of the clinical conditions for which HRT should be considered, such as cardiovascular disease and neurodegenerative disease, and osteoporosis, to name a few.ā€

Sixth day of pregnenolone and here are a few observations placebo or not:

  • May be helped by the boron but noticeable energy throughout the day. I could still sleep if I closed my eyes but I dont have that slight zombie feel where I just want to go to bed especially in the evening. Easier time being alert and fun after I get home to the wife and kids.
  • Noticeable clearheadedness. Projects and problems are clear in front of me and solutions come quickly.
  • Increased recall. Words, terms, names, etc come quicker now. Sometimes, at work, I would not speak because I would pause trying to think of a word or term and it was a little embarrassing. This has helped my confidence this week and I have been crushing it at work. So much so that my boss even commented to me yesterday that he has noticed a big swing in my presence, especially in meetings.
  • Greater sense of calm, well being, in the moment, self satisfaction.

Some of this may also be due to me being in week 6 of my protocol change but I dont remember feeling this much better during protocol change stabilization before.

Edit: Also to note at the start of March was starting my 3rd months with no alcohol. I dont think I would start to feel better all of a sudden 9 weeks in but it should be noted.

Blood draw tomorrow for a whole bunch of stuff including TT, FT, E2 sens, DHEA, lipids, CBC, TSH, PSA, etc. Should have the results next week and will post. This is my first run at higher weekly t-cyp without an AI. Ordered some Tamoxifen (Nolvadex) and have that on hand. Physiologik recommends it to his patients so maybe I will give it a go @10mg a day. I mean if I can get a little natural production back then why not keep that system kicking?

ā€œā€¦ tamoxifen results in the inhibition of the negative feedback of estrogen at the hypothalamus and pituitary gland, and results in the release of LH and FSH, which in turn increases testosterone biosynthesis and ā€œstimulatesā€ spermatogenesis.ā€

Good for you. I’m taking pregnalone as well and very curious if it’s helping anything. I’m going to get some Boron and I’ll let you know what I feel different.

It’s working don’t change anything

Will you also be testing Preg?

Glad your feeling some relief bro. Are you still just taking 100mg a day? AM? Empty stomach?

I also don’t think the alcohol abstinence is playing a role suddenly. You weren’t a heavy drinker were you? Daily? I know you have been clean for a while.

I need to start figuring out what my plan is regarding my future fertility. Have never used HCG and were thinking of adding another this year. So I need to start figuring out my options.

Not this time. I may test that a few months out and see where it is. Im assuming DHEA will be slightly elevated with the Preg supp but not sure if thats how that works.

Yeah 100mg a day but I take it with the rest of my supplements after meal 2 around 10:30am.

Pretty much. At least a couple a day, usually 3.

Check them. For DHEA i started it one week before my bloods, and it showed 10-20% above range with just the one weeks supplementation.
