NH_Watts' TRT Log

Was this beer? I drink Wild Turkey 101 @110 cal per 1.5oz a shot I will have 3-6 a night but I never seem to put any weight on with whiskey. that is no so with beer. In the summer when I switch to beer I have to be very careful. Beer Bellies are a real thing.

Yes mostly beer but wine and liquor as well. Not light beer either hence the higher cals.
For the record I wasn’t gaining weight while I was imbibing either. The point was that even cutting those cals out I havent been dropping as fast as I would have thought I would.

Also to note, have you ever considered your alcohol consumption may be a large factor of your over aromatization of androgens?

Interesting from the fat it puts on me? Why would sugar(alcohol) increase your E2?

I am going through something similar. And it was preceded by a period of feeling really good!

I am still chugging along at 50mg IM twice a week. I feel my test level is still good, good erections, good work in gym. However I am not ā€œinto itā€ like I was a few weeks ago.

Its the difference between being stoked to hit the gym and in a great mood, vs just going through the motions (although still hitting PR’s) but that aggressive, good mood is not there.

The ā€œmotivation and excitementā€ part is lacking for sure. I don’t know what happened. Sometimes when changing protocols I get this a little bit, so maybe I will level out. But I am interested in what your labs say.

Its a very strange feeling. Has anyone had a similar feeling when their E2 is a little too high?

I went from thinking all day about my workout at the end of the day, pumped, to just coasting and doing it. I literally would be in a good mood, thinking about what exercises I was going to do and so forth. Now it just feels like something I have to do, no real joy associated with it.

No, ethanol increases aromatase activity in the liver.

I get a bit of that though thats mostly due to nursing a painful knee and hating doing prehab/rehab instead of crushing. Mine is mostly memory and alertness.

I started Collage Peptides recently to see if it helps with my hammered tendons/ligaments and joints form the low e2, and just preventive.

Thanks for the link. I’m not going to stop having my evening whiskey because it might act like 10# of belly fat. I don’t have any issues with low/micro doses of anastrozole. Been taking them for 3 years and have my E2 under control. I only get a bit out of balance coming off a blast because I let my E2 run high while blasting for the joint protection it provides.

Mine could also be because I came from that super high period (when I had the prostate issues) and had been injecting more, during December/jan, and now I am normalizing at a lower level. I think that is a common phenomenon. How do you feel when you go to a lower dose after being on a higher dose?

Yeah totally your choice dude. I knew that you have problems with high E2 and just wanted to mention that correlation. Cheers.

Close to the same.

I would move to Miami or somewhere similar if it was possible… beach anyway. Mountains are great to but that means you have winter and I can only do the winter thing so much

Plenty of mountains without snow. Costa Rica is beautiful.

True that but then you would hvs no winter sports. I love mountains with snow. Peaceful. Just don’t like the months and months of cold .

A symptom of low pregnenalone, ā€œJoint and muscle painsā€

You know what mine is from…

Fairly healed now, can do heavy squats and so forth. Have not tried running.

might have taken longer to hear if your pregnenalone is low probably

If you look at the hormone cascade, wouldn’t that be because low Test causing low e2?

I have also seen low DHEA as a cause for joint pain and muscle pain. But again, wouldn’t that be because if you have low DHEA, you also have low test, and therefore, low estrogen?

Actually pregnenalone comes first, it is built from cholesterol. ALL other hormones are built off of this level. AND if you have high stress your body will prioritize manufacturing cortisol (eventually) out of pregnenalone over testosterone.

So low pregnenalone, low everything else.
