That omezorpole makes me tired to.

I’ve switched to generic omezorpole from walgreens since you suggested it. I was eating 150mg tabs of zantac twice a day and still needed tums in the evening.

I like it. I’m taking one morning with breakfast and one at nite before dinner and have had no heartburn at all.
I don’t notice it making me tired. I have issues getting to sleep at night and it has not helped there.

Foods high in K2: natto, fermented soy, goose liver, cheese, egg yolks, dark chicken meat, butter

Am taking pharmacy strength. 40 mg 2 x a day. The store ones I think are 20 mg. I don’t plan on being in then long. The endoscopy caused v me this

I just try to keep up with science and stuff but try to steer clear of anything without some proof behind it. Sometimes, like Kelp or Ashwa, its to try to fill a specific need and if sides dont subside I get rid of them after a good run. 6-8 months. CoQ10 seems to have some validity and only recently started taking that one.

Not sure man. 2,800 cals should already be a 500cal deficit based on my exercise. I was imbibing an extra 1k cals a day in booze each day in December/November and not trying to eat clean. I generally dont eat fried food, fast food, go out to eat much, or go crazy with sweets but I wasn’t being careful with cals. So maybe even more than 1k a day. This isn’t a stall point…nothing has begun. Hard to believe homeostasis is so strong here.

Kind of built this on the Metabolic Blowtorch Diet written by Jay Campbell. The lower days are really IF days where I dont eat for 16 after the night before. So usually first meal is 11-12 with just black coffee and water before that.

I dont usually suffer from Seasonal Affective Disorder (if thats even real) but perhaps.

My vitamin gives me 50% plus I eat 4 eggs a day, kimchi or sauerkraut every day, yogurt, grass-fed butter, etc. I wonder if I need more due to my high supplementation. Do you have a study or citation?

How long have you been running this approach?

Also, what is your height?

Gotcha. Can’t say there’s an exact science to this, but I know that for me personally, my metabolism will adapt to whatever diet I’m running after about 4-5 weeks. I have to keep changing it up or I hit a stall. After so long though, even with changing it up the changes come slower for sure, but they are still changing.

IF never really did much for me unless my main diet was extremely low carb, but that’s just me. The cycling of carbs I think just confuses my metabolism too much. Could be related to the fact that I have chronic high blood sugar readings and insulin sensitivity issues. I have to keep my intakes fairly steady.

May could try dropping the IF for a few weeks and see if that helps get things moving again. I heard a doc in one of the videos posted here (I think it was the one @physioLojik posted) say one of the most profound things I ever heard, and it helped me understand something that I kind of figured out by accident on my own…he said…

The best diet is the one you’re not on.

In other words, your body is going to adapt to whatever you do. It’s very smart. The best thing we can do to keep it changing for us, is to keep changing what we feed it and how we work it. Made sense to me. I try to do that every 4 weeks or so. Sometimes subtle (bumping calories up or down by 200-300, changing my training routine) and sometimes drastic, but always changing.

Edit to add… also, be a little wary of the TDEE calculators. They seem to always over state caloric needs. Mine calculates to around 2800 calories for my lifestyle and stats, but I don’t drop fat until I cut to around 1800 or so. At 2000, I stop dropping fat and start seeing slight gains on the workouts, provided I keep my protein intake to around 1.2-1.5 X BW and time my carbs just before and after workouts.

So through the years I have tried just about everything. Not much has ever made the scale move short of low-calorie eating. But I do feel my strength starts to drop. Maybe now that I am on T it will be a different story. I will try dropping the IF for a week or so and see what’s up and take it from there. Thanks for the time and ideas.

It’s super important to rotate what you’re doing. Protein sources fats etc carbs everything. It’s the number one thing I do with diets I write for clients.

For instance you might do five days 40/30/30 and then switch to one day of 50/10/40. You need to really think diets through

Ugh. I really hate the idea of being so precise with everything. I feel that what you just posted would almost be best accomplished by just eating whatever keeping protein high and keeping the junk out. LOL :slight_smile:

So the point of alternating carbs and fat really for my patients as well as myself does serve a good physiological end game. I love writing diets for people haha

Good it works really well for me. When I take the medicine it jsut mAkes me Drowsy. I don’t take it anymore. I’m confident you’ll get healed bro. Surely it’s just temporary. I’d give it a couple more weeks and see if it’s any better.
