This young NFL season is already proving the pre-season pundits wrong. Both the Rams and Steelers, annointed by many as the teams to beat in their respective conferences, are 0-2! My Packers, also hyped as a Super Bowl contender, are a shakey 1-1 and quite frankly, look like shit. Many labelled the Patriots’ last season as a fluke and here they are, kicking ass and taking names! The Bears, also dismissed as a 2001 fluke, picked up where they left off, always finding a way to win. The NFL is really great!
Hey, the Saints looked GOOOOD yesterday. And I still have the belief that the Bucs will do just fine, too. And yeah, the Pats are looking strong so far. But what about that unvbelievable Bills/Viking game? Now I really wish Seattle had gotten Bledsoe. But my Niners…my poor Niners. thinking to self: it’s STILL the beginning of the season…

Know why the Rams are 0-2? Cuz the Giants own! Jeremy Shockey is causing havoc, even without touching the ball. The young DBs are playing like veterans. And Kerry Collins is playing incredibly. Coupled with a really light schedule, its gonna be a good year. Eagles my ass.
And here I thought the Rams were 0-2 cuz their O-line hasn’t held up like it did a couple years ago, and the team has all but abandoned the run with Marshall.
The Eagles handed it to my Skins this week. Looked like the D didn’t prepare at all for playing McNabb. And not using LaVar as a spy for McNabb was an insanely stupid move in my opinion.
How about those classy Eagles fans kicking a Skins fan while he was down, and making the security use pepper spray to prevent any serious injuries?
Patriots are looking good. I’m shocked, I’d have to admit that I’m one of the guys that thought they simply played above their heads last year. But it’s just like any good team… basically their O and D line are playing great.
Chargers are also doing good… but they’ve played some weak competition. They’re still my pick for the AFC West.
In the NFC East it’s a 4 way tie for First… heh
I’m not going to talk shit because I don’t believe it accomplishes anything. I’m only going to say that the Bears are not a fluke. I’m not going to act like most people and say “Da Bears are the best!! Bears all the way baby!!”, because I don’t pretend that they are the best team in the NFL. You can’t say the Bears are a fluke, however. Sorry, but it just doesn’t work that way. They are 2-0 right now, and the Falcons are a good, solid team this year. The Vikings are no slouch either, as much as I hate to say it (they’re in our division). A team that goes 13-3 one year and starts the next year off 2-0 is not a fluke. At least show respect and give credit where it’s due.
Kerry Collins is a joke just remember he owns the record for most fumbles by a quarterback. Eagles my ass,huh. Who beat the G-boys twice last year, looks like the tide has turned. The Birds will sweep the Giants again this year!
Collins was a mess last year, but he looks so much better this year. I’ll give credit where credit is due, he’ll never be like McNabb. You know that he can bench 420lb? thats crazy! The Eagles can beat the Giants all they want, they’re the only team on the Giants schedule for the rest of the year that made the playoffs last year. The Eagles don’t have it so easy.
Just last week Eagles fans were ready to run and hide and cry like lil’ babies after the Titans mounted that big second half comeback. Now they beat the much overrated Redskins and they’re the new NFL dynasty. Typical of Philadelphia fans (I live in Philly so I can say that). That’s why I hate the Eagles. Their fans remind me of second grade cheerleaders. When they win, it’s Super Bowl all the way. When they lose, it’s “Bench Mcnabb” or whatever and start boo-hooing. I love the Phillies, Flyers and Sixers, but despise those ‘Birds. For the record: huge Vikings fan. Yeah, they’re 0-2 but they’re rebuilding so I don’t wanna hear about it. The Eagles are better than the Vikes this year because they have superior personnel, and they’re supposed to be the Super Bowl favorite. They ain’t gettin’ there though. Too one-dimensional on offense with McNabb.
