The Giants won’t even make the playoffs this year. Mark it down.

Awww, Johnny Texas feeling a little sore about your QB choking once again in the playoffs? Hope fully Romo won’t be more concerned about getting ass then preparing for the game this year. Its all good, i’ll get my popcorn ready to watch the colossal melt down you guys will have around week 12. Mark it down, then choke on it.

Tough talk. Step up and put your money where your mouth is.

Think the God’s Team will lose to the Giants? Shit or get off the pot - or go put on your cheerleader uniform.

But even if the unthinkable does happen, it will be irrelevant to the fact that the Giants will be sitting home watching on TV when the playoffs roll around.

At least then Eli will have a reason to look like he’s constantly on the verge of tears.

While I almost never wish injury upon a player, he is a total dickhead.

Rather than wish for an injury, I just hope his career somehow deteriorates to laughing status, a-la Ryan Leaf.
Even better than getting injured!!! He is a prick

The Giants will make it to the playoffs because of their defense. Eli Manning is sparatic, he makes great plays and horrible ones just about every drive. He needs to play like he did in the postseason last year for them to have a chance.

Eli learned that look from Bill Cowher

They’ve lost their two all-world DE’s from last year. No way they are as good on defense this year. The only real weapon they have on offense is Jacobs.

You must not have watched the game against D.C. The Redskins only got into the red zone ONCE the entire game. Eli connected with Plaxico for 10x for 133 yards, Brandon Jacobs gained 100+ yards and ran over the majority of Washingtons DB’s. Our team is just fine. Last year Dallas beat us every time we met BUT, lost in the playoffs. You must have really enjoyed last years superbowl. The Giants did what the rest of the league could not, and that was beat the Pats. YOU GUYS are the ones who’s got something to prove not us.

I wasn’t talking about the teams. I was talking about you. Are you sure enough in your team to make a friendly wager? I have not lost a football bet on this message board.

But I was pulling for the Giants in the Super Bowl. Other than my disdain for Eli, I really don’t give the Giants a second thought. But they were playing a team I truly dislike, so I rooted for them.

Manning got lucky on the one pass he had to complete - it wont happen very often this year.

Okay, what would the wager entail? Under what circumstances? I stand by my team.

Jay Cutler is going to be a great quarterback! The next Elway? Now that they have the diabetes figured out, he is going to be good. Not that there won’t still be some growing pains, but he will impress a lot of people this year.

Go Broncos!
So i detect bitterness towards Rivers from what happened in the game last season? The guy likes to talk smack, nothing wrong with that.

I can see the Broncos possible winning the game. The Chargers have two of their best o-line men out of the game and have two linebackers out. That plus they always have trouble in mile high. I just hope it is a good game.

might not have been clear but I was talking about Jay Cutler, He doesnt seem much better than Rivers to me and he just looks like a goober

Sorry, have to disagree. How can you say Jacobs is the only weapon the Giants have on offense? Did you not see Plaxico Burress dominate the Washington secondary? Did you not see Plax, on one good leg, dominate Green Bay’s secondary in the NFC Championship game?

Look at Plax’s numbers since he signed with the Giants. I’d argue he’s the best free agent pickup in the NFL by any team in the past 5 years. He’s going to have a monster year this year.

Oh, and don’t forget about Toomer, Steve Smith, Manningham (when he gets healthy), Sinorice Moss, David Tyree. Giants probably have the deepest WR core in the league.

And the O-line is solid.

Love Jacobs, but don’t sleep on Ward or Bradshaw. Both can carry the load as well.

Eli is going to be more consistent this year and will put up big numbers.

Defense maybe won’t have as many sacks as last year, but they’ll still be pretty damn good.

I’d be very surprised if the Giants don’t make the playoffs this year.

If I am wrong, and they do get in, they will get in as the second WC team.

Dallas wins the division going away. I wouldn’t be surprised if Dallas has the NFC East clinched before they play the Giants in week 15.

I’m not doubting the Giant receiving corps. But they depend on Eli to get the ball to them. He’s still Eli. I have no faith in the boy.

You’re probably right. I think Dallas does win the division and the Eagles and Giants will be the NFC wildcard teams.

Dallas is good, no doubt about that. Question is, can they live up to the hype and do something in the postseason? They had a great regular season last year, then fell flat in the playoffs. What team was it that beat them last year?

I’m more confident in Eli than I have been in past years, but I did see him get that bewildered look in his eyes in the 2nd half of the Washington game.

I can understand why you still have doubts about him. I just had to make sure and give my boy Plax some love since it appeared he was being overlooked.

9-4 so far this week. Lessons learned so far:

 1. Buffalo is actually good.
 2. O-line injuries are killing Jacksonville and Indy (even though they squeezed one out).
 3. Jay Cutler is far and away the best QB from the 06 draft. I’m gonna start taking insulin now too.
 4. The Chargers got fucking worked by the kingpin of the zebra mafia. Reminds me of the infamous Thanksgiving Day Jerome Bettis “Heads!” “And the call is tails…” fiasco.
 5. The Patriots are still tough.
 6. Jamarcus Russell is still a good college QB. Too bad he plays in the NFL now.
 7. Vince Young is a spoiled cunt.
 8. Carolina and Chicago are both contenders. What a game. Jake Delhomme is as good as anyone with the game on the line.
 9. Darren McFadden is as good as we thought. Oh, wait…that’s right he was playing KC. Not so fast…
 10. Shaun Rogers is a fucking monster at NT. He’s a bigger, stronger, faster Casey Hampton.

Well that was certainly a very good game! I would say it is a little pre mature to say the Dallas will win the NCF East b/c they trailed most of the game and squeaked that one out.

But again a very good game! I hope these two teams beet the hell out of each other in the next game and the playoffs so that Car as a little easier time getting past one of them.

As of now I would say that one of these teams are the over whelming favorites to represent the NFC in the Super Bowl.

RJ you have to be out of your mind if you think Philly couldnt have won this game.

Watch out this year the bills, broncos, titans, and packers are sleepers!!!

We gave Philly one touchdown, and the refs pretty much gave them another with that horrible interference call.

I was only wrong on one point: that Dallas would win going away. I said McNabb would choke and he did.

I think he is a much better QB this season than I gave him credit for. That rookie WR is going to be a good one if he can keep his nose clean. And Westbrook is going to be pretty much unstoppable.

Best MNF game in years.

I dont know if I would call the Pack sleepers. Maybe an unknown with Rodgers, but most would have still picked them to win that division. I would agree with the rest of these teams though and add Chi-town and Carolina with J. Stewart. I was very much impressed with him in the 2nd half of that game(that would not have been close if not for all the penalties)

But like I said I hope the NFC East beat the hell out of one another

I would say the the worst “contender” at 0-2 right now are the Vikes. Peaterson wont run for 165 next week. 5 FGs wont get it done aginst CAR they might not go .500 this year

That game may have carved a few years off my life, but it was awesome.

And the “interference” call on Henry was utter crap. My only guess was the ref thought he was not looking back at the ball… except he was until he got pulled to the turf by his damn jersey.

On a sad note, not a single Jessica Simpson shot. Come on!
