Love the acquisition of Ivory

Goodson + Ivory. Probably a RBBC so sucks fantasy-wise but their run game will definitely be better.
I dont know man, there arent too many backfields that arent RBBC, I have him as a keeper in one of my leagues think he will be a solid RB2 or Flex. IRL thats a potentially excellent tandem…no too much tread on either backs tires, Ivory will be the power back and goodson the speed change of pace back. Add Powell who is a hard runner, its at least SOMETHING I can get excited about.
Rumors of Sanchez release happening. I hope it does for his sake. Let Garrard start and Gino learn.

lol me too…this is what I have read
Appearing on ESPN’s coverage of the NFL Draft, Adam Schefter reported the Jets will consider releasing Mark Sanchez after selecting West Virginia’s Geno Smith with the No. 39 pick.
The Jets are overloaded at QB with Sanchez, Smith, Tim Tebow, Greg McElroy, David Garrard and Matt Simms, but may decide to move forward with Garrard and McElroy backing up Smith. Sanchez’s $8.25 million 2013 salary is fully guaranteed thanks to overmatched former GM Mike Tannenbaum’s infamous “apology extension,” but Gang Green may just bite the bullet with Sanchez clearly having no future in the Big Apple. The cap hit could be spread out over two seasons if Sanchez is designated as a post-June 1 release, which Schefter reports is a possibility.
@RichCimini: Jets can’t cut Sanchez, $17M hit. If cut with 6/1 designation, hed count $12.4M on '13 cap, $4.8M next yr. Currently, $12.9M

I’m sure the Jets will keep Sanchez around for another year. That way Smith learns what NOT to do at the position by watching Sanchez fuck up in every way possible.

The Chargers just got a whole lot better.

They had an awesome draft. DJ Fluker (reach but an obvious need), Teo, and Keenan Allen.
Fuck

DJ Fluker is massive.
Here’s his infamous tweet:

Well all I know if AJ was drafting they never would have picked an O-lineman in the first round. He would have wasted his pick on an OLB who never plays. They drafted obvious needs which is good. Still need more OL, secondary help, OLB, DL, another RB, haha still a lot of holes.

Shit, you could probably say the same thing about MATT Ryan, too. Last I checked, QBs who couldn’t put up points on the road or in the second half didn’t have the greatest track record in the postseason.
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!
Quit your whining. You won 2nd place.
For the record, Sanchez has won more games than Kaepernick. He played half a season, it proves nothing.
PB Andy wrote:
I should mention, for the value, it’s not a bad pick at all. But just their roster… Sanchez, Tebow, Girard, Geno. I can’t wait to see how this develops.
And McElroy. They have may nearly as many QB’s as lineman. I guess they can put a few on the line, they won’t fare worse.
Jets are a joke. There is no salvation til they run the clown out of town.

I dont understand the LOL Jets bullshit you guys are spewing now. While I wasnt crazy about the Milliner pick there is really no issues with any picks so far. Geno Smith is an excellent value in the second round when he was a pretty much thought of as a first rounder.
You can lol Jets about their owner and their coach, but Idzick so far so good.
As far as their QB situation goes, Garrard is a solid vet who will be a good influence in the lockeroom even if he isnt starting, Tebow will be cut, and their will simply be a competition for the starting job.
I fully expect the Jets to be one of the worst teams next year, no matter what position they draft it will be fine as they have so many holes. Your hatred for a team that has no baring on your respective teams is what is so LOLable.
Pat that meme was retarded, not even close to being funny especially when your team hasn’t won shit either.
Sorry man, the Jets just flat suck. There is no way around it. Go for the Giants, you’ll be happier in the end. MY team is waaaaaaaaay better than the Jets and there is nothing you can do about it.
No it’s not that funny and if I were a Jets fan, I damn sure wouldn’t be laughing, I’d be crying.

Yeah re the Jets, I first I couldn’t understand why go for 2 guys on D when the offense needs massive retooling.
On further consideration, we’re building for the next 3 years not the next season. We may well lose Cromartie after this season - Milliner becomes essential. Plus we also lost Landry and Bell over the offseason - our secondary needs help. Richardson, along with Coples and Mo will give us an unbelievable D line - plus on pass plays he’s athletic enough to play like an LB. AND I’ve heard word that the Jets are moving to a 4-3 defense.
Plus both guys are studs - as Idzik tells it you just can’t pass up that kind of value.
So I don’t mind the picks as much now.
I’ve heard it said that you draft for value in the first round, then draft for need in later rounds. Let’s wait and see and judge this draft as a whole.
Well, their D better be good, cause they got no O. I can see the team winning a game 2-0, with no offense.
I felt worse for Geno when he got picked then when he got skipped in the first round. Did you see the Jet’s news conference? All that ‘competition’ bullshit. It was painful to watch. It was like when they were talking, they couldn’t even believe the shit that was coming out of their mouth.
