1 QB in the first round. Arguably, not a very good one. I just had a feeling none of the big name skill players would go.
So what it says about the draft is that either, protection is at a premium right now or the skill player set is weak. Probably a little of both.
I just want the Falcons to get Lattimore. I really hope we don’t let him slip through. With Jackson as our starting RB, we got the perfect situation to get Lattimore healthy and be an impact player for years to come.

Hey Derek, what do you think of the Cowboys’ trade and pick? I love it. The Niners move up and don’t have to part with either of their second round picks. I like Reid at FS and I guaranfuckingtee you that they snag Jesse Williams or Zac Ertz with their first pick in the second round. I like Williams there more than Ertz, but I don’t think the Niners can go wrong with either one.
Williams has the ability to play either the end position or the NT position in their 3-4, which isn’t really a 3-4 defense anyways. They don’t ask their NT to line up right over the center but rather between him and the guard, with two ends between the guard and tackle and then Aldon Smith lined up somewhere on the end. Williams can also play the tackle position and stay on the field when they go to a nickel defense (which I expect them to do for at least half of their defensive snaps next year) and have just two down linemen.
That leaves a rotation at this point of Justin Smith, Ray McDonald, Glenn Dorsey, Will Tukuafu, Ian Williams and Aldon Smith along the line, plus they like to rush Ahmad Brooks a lot from the OLB position and they are getting Parys Haralson back from injury at the other OLB spot, who actually started over Aldon Smith in 2011.
I also don’t think the Niners are done trading at all. It wouldn’t surprise me to see them trade their later second round pick plus a couple other picks to move up in the second and land both Williams AND Ertz.
After seeing Big Bill get 4 PICKS for his trade and fucking JJ get ONE pick, I am on the verge of fucking taking my .270 out for a stroll in Dallas. ![]()
You got your safety.
Next you need to package a bunch and move up again.
Dude, what is with the Jones’? Are they really as out of it as they make themselves look? Jerry Jones has already turned into Al Davis reincarnate, but now it looks like his son is turning into his clone as well. It must kill you to know that it was the Niners of all teams that just raped the shit out of the Cowgirls with that trade.
Jerry Jones IS the new Al Davis. Old delusional owner driving his once proud franchise into the dirt.
I would be willing to bet that Travis Frederick would have been available when Dallas picked at #15 in the second round. What a waste of a pick.

I agree, he’s losing it.

Jarvis fell to #17 after being projected possibly #1 at some point. Personally I think Pitt is getting an absolutely ridiculous steal, time and time again we see dudes fall from high that play super legit, and dudes rise from nowhere that suck and bust.
got in himmel!
Fell right to them. Wow. RB or a safety is next.

so upset about this…steelers know what there doing he will be an all pro…hopefully we can snatch lacey
The RB? So far the Jets haven’t done anything to help that offense so they gotta do SOMETHING!!!

Nah, they are fine as they are.
Shit they should trade the restof their picks for straight cash homie.

Assuming NYJ would’ve taken (read: wasted) him at #9, Tavon Austin must be over-the-moon about STL swooping him how they did.
LOL JETS

period.

Shit, you could probably say the same thing about MATT Ryan, too. Last I checked, QBs who couldn’t put up points on the road or in the second half didn’t have the greatest track record in the postseason.
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!
I should mention, for the value, it’s not a bad pick at all. But just their roster… Sanchez, Tebow, Girard, Geno. I can’t wait to see how this develops.
Yeah re the Jets, I first I couldn’t understand why go for 2 guys on D when the offense needs massive retooling.
On further consideration, we’re building for the next 3 years not the next season. We may well lose Cromartie after this season - Milliner becomes essential. Plus we also lost Landry and Bell over the offseason - our secondary needs help. Richardson, along with Coples and Mo will give us an unbelievable D line - plus on pass plays he’s athletic enough to play like an LB. AND I’ve heard word that the Jets are moving to a 4-3 defense.
Plus both guys are studs - as Idzik tells it you just can’t pass up that kind of value.
So I don’t mind the picks as much now.
I’ve heard it said that you draft for value in the first round, then draft for need in later rounds. Let’s wait and see and judge this draft as a whole.
I dont understand the LOL Jets bullshit you guys are spewing now. While I wasnt crazy about the Milliner pick there is really no issues with any picks so far. Geno Smith is an excellent value in the second round when he was a pretty much thought of as a first rounder.
You can lol Jets about their owner and their coach, but Idzick so far so good.
As far as their QB situation goes, Garrard is a solid vet who will be a good influence in the lockeroom even if he isnt starting, Tebow will be cut, and their will simply be a competition for the starting job.
I fully expect the Jets to be one of the worst teams next year, no matter what position they draft it will be fine as they have so many holes. Your hatred for a team that has no baring on your respective teams is what is so LOLable.
Pat that meme was retarded, not even close to being funny especially when your team hasn’t won shit either.

LOL another one, your team hasnt been exactly fucking awesome either. In fact as shitty as the Jets were last year, we still kicked the Rams ass. When did the Rams become the greatest show on Turf re-incarnate? Im pretty sure they were a low ranked offense last year, and your QB has been VERY underwhelming. You sure do like to give jabs at my team when your team is really nothing much as well.
Gettin’ hot in here!

Heh fair enough.
(in all honesty Matty, I’ve got a loudmouth buddy who is also diehard NYJ so it’s easy enough to just rehash the same material here. And nearly as much fun, as well ![]()
