rapistburger has to be one of the biggest scumbags in sports.

Im gonna be at Metlife stadium this year for the Jets Draft Party, looking forward to it and this years draft. If I see Jets Owner Woody Johnson Im going to try and drop kick him, I’ll let you know how it goes.

The rumor Of Chris Ivory going to the Jets is something I have been wanting since the end of the year, if he gets a chance to play I think he could be really effective…not sure for 2nd rounder though.

And at number nine the NY Jets select Jarvis Jones from the University of Georgia

Dunno about Jarvis Jones, his stock has been falling. He may go to the Steelers. I can see the Jets taking B Mingo.

Mingo’s stock has fallen too.

I dont think you pass up a talent like that. The combine stats are not the be all end all. The production he had is awesome and that’s what matters most to me, what he did on the field. From what I have read (I am not a College Footbal fan or follower) he has produced against the best of the best.

Kyle Boller anyone?

Why not OL Matty?

Seriously, what is their plan at QB!!! They can’t keep going with Sanchez. Granted, he doesn’t have the greatest weapons around him but picking a ILB ain’t gonna help that…

Honestly, any position would be the right move but I believe they have the chance at something special with Muhamad Wilkerson and Quinton Coples. Adding a Jones, Jordan or Mingo can potentially be amazing.

Not a QB in this draft I would touch with a 10 foot pole. IMO

Fix the OL and get a QB next year

IMO Matty, keep Revis and the D will be top 15, you need to protect Sanchize like he is the new baby jesus and GET A FUCKING RUNNING GAME.

Not having the greatest weapons is the understatement of the century…Jason Hill, Chaz Schillens and Clyde Gates were their receivers, his only true pass catching weapon was hurt most of the year (keller) and he had no running game. 98% of the qb’s in the league would have done horribly as well…to think he accounted for 36 TDs the year before with horrible Oline production and no running game to think of.

What the Jets should do is stick with what they have at QB this year (minus tebow)and wait till next years draft class to draft a QB. While I like Geno Smith there will be much better options in 2014.

Grabbing a LB or an end, would help cement a problem that they have had for about 5 years now, a pass rush w/o blitzing…which is paramount IMO especially with the impending loss of Revis

Revis is as good as gone dude, you know I am a staunch Sanchez supporter, but his career is done in NY and you can thank the idiots that run the Jets for this. Im thinking past this season as I hope they win 0 games next year.

I had hoped that Sanchez got out of NY and went somewhere like AZ to revitalize his career.

As far as RB, like I said before if they can get their hands on Ivory, it would an excellent pickup IMO

I agree with your assessment and Dereks, I guess I just think that offense needs the overhaul more than the D. I guess if there is a “can’t miss” prospect then you have to do that but OL and RB would be my focus if waiting until next year for QB.

B/w watching the Jets play and Cleveland play last year on DirectTV, I couldn’t change the channel fast enough. They just didn’t put out a football program that I could even enjoy watching.

Matty and I our soul brothers of unhappiness with our teams.

We both have some of the same problems.

I dont know Matty about Revis leaving, the more I listen to the more I get this feeling he is there one more year.

Im very torn on Revis, on one hand IMO he is really one of those once in a generation players, on the other hand he is a corner and the Jets have SOOOO many holes to fill. An extra number 1, 3 and a 6 for a player coming off surgery who wants a ridiculous amount of money…I think all things considered I have to take the picks.

Nate, agreed the product was deplorable and embarrassing.

Oh I understand about trying to deal him, cause fact is you have to rebuild.

Problem is can it get done? What will trading your best player do to the rest of the team also.

Damn it, all you guys with your tough QB’s…

I’m lucky mine can keep his wrist striaght while he bitches at a ref[/quote]

The only time Brady missed a game was with a torn ACL. He might not look tough but he’s not the pussy I’d like to make him out to be.

The thing with Revis is he is one of the players that can single-handedly win games for you by keeping the other team to 20 points or less. On the other hand, you guys won’t be making a deep playoff run for some time so you might as well trade away Revis, keep your picks, keep your money, and rebuild. You’ll lose more games next year w/o Revis but at this point that is almost acceptable if the future will be brighter.
