Nnamdi supposedly headed to Houston or Tampa Bay… interesting. Tampa could use a corner, especially because of the Talib incident(s). Houston can definitely use one, too, haha. I think it’s a great fit between either of these teams - I LOVE what Houston but I also have a fanboy boner for the 3-4.
But seriously, how about those Packers? :D
Packers are so last year.
Nnamdi is heading to Texas for sure, but which Texas team?
VY man all the rejects go to Cincy or the Raiders everyone knows that.
Veterans wanting out of some training camp time, they can go to meetings etc. Just no on field. What is your feeling on Free? I say drop Columbo keep Free and put rookie at Right tackle.

Also are you at work?
I agree. Columbo is going to have to go, and the rookie better pan out.
I’m still at home. No internet at work I’m afraid.

So I need to Text you updates today correct. When you going to get an Evo?
Im bringing this discussion over here from the Supp Ordering thread…
I definitely think that SF can win their division this year. I honestly think that they will. The D is going to be nasty and Harbaugh will is smart enough to get some points up on the board. I think they will rely heavily on the run game and short passing game. We had a great running game last year with two rookies starting on the O Line… I think we’ll be good to go, plus the division pretty much sucks balls. Especially if Seattle doesnt keep Hasslebeck.
I think it’ll be SF and STL for the division. Dallas is in a much tougher division than SF thats why I feel like we’ll do better
Hard to argue against your point Greg, but what if the Rams get a dynamic WR and Jackson is healthy they can put up points. What if Kolb goes to the Cards and Orton goes to Seattle? That could change the complection of the NFC west for sure.
Two of the most important things in this day and age of the NFL are QB and pass rusher. SF needs both.
As for the NFC West. I can’t wait to see SF and Seattle clunk their heads together this season ala Stanford and USC.
I’ve had a mancrush for Jim Harbaugh since he was a Wolverine, and I love the city of Seattle and thier fanbase. We bout to have some fun out west this year boys.

DJ how the heck is Kolb qualified as a threat right now? For all I can tell the only reason he’s attractive is because he’s available and cheap.

Cause he has been coached and has time to sit and “season” for QB this seems to make a big difference. Who would you have better faith in Kolb or Ponder/Locker/Newton?

Locker, 100%
Proved himself to be coachable, have some cahones, and deal with injuries. I like that kid strictly based of what he did in college

Brad they play the first real game in a month or so, no way Locker can come out day one and produce like Kolb could on day one. Kolb has done 5 training camps and stayed on the side lines for years. Locker has yet to step foot in the facility. Long term yes Locker I am just talking about this year and the next 3-4.

I disagree! Locker is a stud. I seen him play! In person even!
If I were the Cards I’d get Jeff Garcia out of a wheelchair before I paid Kolb, or re-sign John Navarre, or henpeck that undrafted QB from the Red Raiders from a couple years ago.

hahahahahahahaha I hope Kolb gets shipped, BECAUSE Vick will go down at some point this year. Then the Boys can kick Kafka’s ass when they play the Eagles.
I agree with what you’re saying DJ… the NFC West could REALLY change drastically depending on how FA goes. There good be some real moves made (heard rumors of Namdi going to SF! that would be awesome but I’m not holding my breath)
I agree with Brad about Locker. I think that he will be a good QB. He’s not Brady or Manning but I could honestly see him turning into a Steve Young-esq player. Good mobility that gets out of trouble and picks teams apart in the short passing game (west coast style) Especially with CJ in the backfield.
FTR: I am NOT saying that Locker is on the same level as Steve Young (my third favorite player ever)

Kolb could be another Shaub.
Or another Detmer or Couch or Carr or Henson… That’s right I said Henson.
